I'm new here. And it's great to see a TVB forum here. I've just completed Just Love 2. I really love the show eventhough I saw many ppl in other forums said that the storyline is boring. Haha.. I guess I like it due to the light-hearted plot and Jessica's great acting..!! Hehe..

Anyone watching Beautiful Cooking here? It's so addictive and hilarious.. Haha.. By the way, just want to hear some opinions since I not yet started on both A Greatway to Care and The Threshold of a Persona. Which drama is better or worth watching in your opinion? Seems like a lot of bad comments about Threshold.

I've watched 1st episode of A Great Way to Care and I think it's pretty interesting. However, it's sad that Natalie Tong only has a small role in this series.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jun 12 2009, 09:46 AM) OMG, really!!! Up to episode 4 now.. Certain parts are quite slow.. But still ok.. Haha.. The theme about psychology is quite refreshing.. Anyone notice the casts of this drama AGWTC is very similar to The Threshold of a Persona? Haha.. A lot of same casts in both drama.but the make up looks very fake, unlike hollywood style. i am now at epi 2. i find it ... hmmm, ok ok nia. hopefully more sparks coming up. |

Just finished watching Threshold of A Persona. I think it's quite a good series. Didn't really have much expectations at 1st but I think it's quite interesting towards the end, with some really touching parts. :-)

Started watching A Bride For A Ride today. It's not as boring as what I expect. It's actually quite hilarious at some parts. LOL. How's Burning Flame 3? Any opinion? I had watched Ep. 1 last week but got no motivation to continue it. Sigh.
Can't wait for D.I.E. 2 though! 1 more month! Haha.. This post has been edited by giftsnme: Jul 17 2009, 01:20 AM |

Currently in need of a god comedy now.. :-)currently watching Burning Flame 3 so far i dont feel the excitement yet all flashing back stories, how they join the fire rescue team, how they started to grudge each other etc etc where is the flame!!!!! |

I really like both the dramas showing now. Both are so hilarious and have my favourite leading casts in it.
I think both series are unique in their own way. You're Hired is really good as every episode is funny eventhough they have some business talk but it's not draggy or dull at all. And Dayo can just make me laugh without trying too hard. :-) His actions are really funny and his interactions with Charmaine is awesome. And as for D.I.E. Again, I think the cases are pretty interesting. Unlike the normal police dramas. So far so good. And as usual, great acting from Roger. |

QUOTE(kding2 @ Sep 1 2009, 07:59 PM) about You'Re Hired Yeap. The series didn't go downhill.. Cos got introduction of new characters like Michael Tse and also some interesting cases. Then, every episode is funny, especially the hilarious scenes between Charmaine and Dayo. Shouldn't miss it. :-) And the storyline isn't that over-exaggarating too.The series didn't goes downhill on later episode? It keep interesting and entertaining? |

QUOTE(kding2 @ Sep 1 2009, 08:57 PM) Yup..that what I am hoping so. I've just finished watching Ep 16. So far the drama is still on the right track, following the right theme. Balance up the business theme and relationship theme quite well. The producer of the drama is Cheung Kin Man and most of his dramas are really interesting like last years (War of In Law 2 and D.I.E.). So, I've faith in most of his productions.because most of the HK drama usually have a very promising start but goes downhill after middle of the series and end in the bad way. Hope that You're Hired won't throw away their interesting premise about business doctor , and the humor element and turn into a draggy lovey-dovey and wishy-washy storyline..like the Mooncake series...(I just cant remember the exact name of that series) The mooncake drama you saying is Moonlight Resonance. |

You're Hired is really good as expected! Finished watching it and really satisfied. But starting to miss the drama. Sigh. Gonna buy the DVD as collection too. Haha. Tried to get it today but too bad not released yet.. :-) One of the rare gems, a well balanced comedy.

QUOTE(kding2 @ Sep 13 2009, 12:47 AM) so what do you think about You're Hired? How is it compare to other TVB series in this year? I think the plot is rather refreshing for a TVB drama. Seldom have this kind of not "mou lei tau" comedy one.. Haha..Well, I am not in the position to make any judgement since this is my first TVB series that I actually finished in these few years..:shocked |

D.I.E. Again is really quite interesting especially the cases. Some of the cases are very refreshing. How I wish it has more episodes instead of 25 only.
As for The Stew of Life, it's quite okay. Light-hearted drama. Suitable to watch when stress. But I still wonder how it manage to have 30 episodes. Haha. Wonder what's going to happen to fill in 30 episodes. But anyway, I'll watch it. :-) |

The Stew of Life story is quite entertaining. It might not have any action or heart-throbbing scenes but it manages to keep me glued to it. I guess it's suitable for you when you're stressed up and need something "light" to watch.

In my opinion, D.I.E. Again is more interesting (I might be biased cos I like the cast). But it depends cos' both are of different genre. Plus, when D.I.E. Again has not concluded, I did watch The Stew of Life too at the same time everyday. :-) But now, I think I'm more into The Stew of Life than In The Chamber of Bliss (heavy drama). Maybe cos' now it's the stressed period. LOL.
