Synopsis:
On Pedder Street, there have been rumours of a competitive business woman, Ivy Yan Seung (Teresa Mo), coming to steal power away from Susan Ka So-Shan (Elaine Jin) at Chiu (潮) Magazine. The two women must bribe their staff to join their side in order to gain the leadership of the firm.

Beside these two women, are two men who also hold strong power in the firm, Yim Yue-Dai (Stephen Au) and Ryan Yu Ka-Sing (Wayne Lai). How will these four individuals affect Pedder Street and who will become the ultimate leader of Chiu (潮) Magazine...?

Synopsis:
Foolhardy Tiger Wong is annoyed with his mother Lau Bing Tai for consistently pressuring him to get married. He therefore snatches Chow Man Bun who is in female disguise to be his bride and arranges for Man Bun to stay at his younger sister Wong Sau Ying's chamber for the night. After this, Tiger Wong has no choice but to marry Sau Ying to Man Bun while setting up strict rules to torture Man Bun in the house. Clever Man Bun makes use of the chivalrous woman Mo Sam Leung to control Tiger Wong and misleads Sam Leung that Tiger Wong is her long lost rescuer. Using tricks to upset Tiger Wong, he makes Tiger Wong marry Sam Leung. Since then, Sum Leung tries every means to domesticate her husband and that almost drives him insane. Man Bun is relieved to escape from Tiger Wong's manipulation but he carelessly causes lots of troubles elsewhere. Synopsis:
In this much-awaited third installment of "Burning Flame", a team of firefighters continue to strive for the safety and well-being of local citizens under extreme conditions. Through rescuing the victims, the beauty of human nature and the importance of life are realized. Encouraged by the fireman leader Chung Yau Shing, young and playful Fong Lei On joins the team and gets to know Cheuk Pak Yue. Unfortunately, the two of them are having lots of misunderstanding at work. Lei On believes that Pak Yue has stolen Yau Shing's lover Ko Wai Ying and causes the serious injury of Yau Shing. However, a gruesome fire accident has drawn everyone into a twist of fate that has led them to find a deeper sense of awareness.

1 There is a motorbike going at 500 miles an hour, and some rambo manages to catch up to it via running and saves the day.

2 There is 10 people surrounding one cop, the cop manages to shoot them all down firing more than 6 bullets when the gun can only hold 6.

3 Someone about to tell who a murderer is, their handphone rings and they forget about something that's so important, they end up dying and the series end up going on for another 10 episdoes.

4 Boy woos girl as a sort of revenge/con job, and to get back some bad debt. He swore that he afters with her for revenge/con job, but ends up falling in love with her.

5 Someone is reading a book with a photo of someone they have a crush on, when they move they drop the book and the photo comes out, and everyone knows who they have a crush on.

6 They pick up shattered glass, and they HAVE to cut themselves, no matter wat series it is, the man gets all worried and touches the finger.

7 Someone falls down from a 20 storey building and survives.. Absolute bullcrap.

8 Gets shot 100 times, still survives but is in "critical" situation and should be "paralysed" when they wake up... They end up fine and live happily ever after...

9 The cops and robber encounters, they keep on missing each other and hitting walls etc. even when they're right in front of each other.

10 Hero and heroine walks past each other or they are at the same place but unable to see each other; or they always missed by a second or were looking somewhere else even though they are on the same street but opposite side. Or block by a billboard... or on a escalator.

11 When a main character dies and then some how they have a twin that looks exactly the same and then they pair up with him or her.

12 The boy and girl are near the beach or somewhere cold. The girl shivers and the guy gives the girl his jacket.

13 Explosions... main character always manage to jump just as a bomb or whatever explodes - always walk away with minor cuts and scars. What about the ears? wouldn't the loud "BANG" damage your hearing?

14 Bad guy drives away in a Mercedes Benz and the cop in the taxi somehow catches up to the Mercedes Benz...

15 Everytime a couple are so close to getting together, another girl or events comes into play and they have to think about each other while going out with someone else.

16 Rain... when it comes it comes... like pouring not drizzle to pouring when a guy and girl are walking.. .the girl always trips... "aiya! ho tong or!"

17 2 people hate each other in the beginning of the series and they love each other at the end. You can always predict who pairs up with who. I hate it when the guy and girl hated each other at first but then ended up together in the end. TVB should come up with new things instead of repeating these craps.

18 When there is a chase in the alley, there are always trashes and sticks available to throw so the one being chased can get away.

19 Girl slips/trips and the guy holds her right on time so the girl will like him ever since.

20 When a guy and girl are about to get kiss, the phone rings, grandma comes into the room, or theres an event that happens which stops it. and then the girl or guy says "i shudn't be doing this" and goes away.

21 A boy/girl has to leave and the other person is rushing to the airport on a taxi. When they reach the airport, they see the airplane fly above them.

22 Shooting stars, HK couples(no matter ancient or modern) in tvb series are so lucky, everytime they are sitting by themselves they look up into the romantic night sky and what do they see? a shooting star, then they say "look at shootingstar!!, make a wish!!" (i in my entire 30 yrs of life has never seen a shooting star, maybe i should look up into the nite sky more or maybe i jis don't have dat lucky, or maybe they only appear when ur wid someone special.)

23 A rich person(main character) gets tricked into losing all their money. Than that person starts all the way from the beginning with the help of lots of friends. After that the main character ends up with lots of money and is up against the person who stole all his/her money. In the end the main character wins.

24 One of the main characters decide to suicide and they never do. They always move back at the last second or someone saves them.

25 A guy impresses a girl by saying he'll wait somewhere and then saying "but geen but saan" (never meet, never leave).

26 Someone gets into an accident, their loved ones reach the hospital and sees the death bed where the sheets are covered over the head, and they start crying historically, then that someone comes out of nowhere and is not dead.

27 there's a really important message to give to someone, he/she manages to talk to the person on the telephone but refuses to tell that person the information. Instead he/she wants to meet somewhere that night and ends up dying !! If they just tell them the info on the phone...we wouldn't have to go thru the next 20 episodes of NONSENSE!!

28 In MOST TVB series, if the character falls off some cleft and people can't find his/her body....he/she always comes back!!

29 In every TVB series, someone has to be in a coma!! WTF!

30 there are taxis everywhere and its soo easy to flag down anywhere n anytime.

31 the person do not die immediately when he is shot or stabbed many times..intsead he still has so much strength to talk a whole lot of crap.

32 Memory lost for one of the main characters, creating another 30 episodes for a sequel. The love story keeps dragging and dragging.

33 The guy or girl is fixing a bandage and the other person is looking at them and they already fall for each other. That is so old, please try another one.

34 The female character trips, almost falls, but the male character holds her, they stare at each other for like 10 minutes and fall in love with each other.

35 The female character drops something, the male character helps her pick it up, the female character gets it back from him, their hands touch, then they both stare at each other's HANDS for god knows how long...

36 Two or more girls will fall in love with the same guy, or vice versa. The unlucky ones will have to hide their love for that lucky S.O.B., until a confrontation reveals everything. The guy, of course, will be hiding behind an ajar door to listen intently.

37 Common TVB ending: The whole cast gathers together, JUMPS, credits start rolling and the series calls it an end.

38 Siblings dating each other's ex-es, or friends dating friend's ex-es

39 Long hospital scenes. A patient is in a coma for like 4 years. One day his/her lover visits, holds the patient's hands, says something sweet, and the patient comes back to life. A miracle.

40 Good cops tend to dodge ALL bullets. Even if the villain is shooting the cop with a machine gun, the cop rolls around the floor, jumps around, and lives.

41 Never in the history of HK drama will the victim know that until the damages been done.

42 When someone is in a coma, and a sign of them becoming concious again is the twitching of the fingers, right at the end of the episode!!

43 If we put all the scenes together in this thread, we just wrote our own TVB series!!
