Just want to share a DIY guide from a local club saga iswara forum.
the source is in mandarin, but i try to translate it. ALL CREDITS GOES TO CLUBSAGAISWARA FORUMER MR PKTAY. For 4G13/4G15 carb engine saga/iswara/wira/satria...(all carb engine have EGR valve) Step 1: ![]() location of EGR valve, uncrew 2 x size 12 bolt, remove the hoses that connected to it, please mark the connection to avoid confusion. ![]() close up shot of the EGR valve ![]() the owner did clean it before few months ago, however just imagine yours never got cleaned before for decades. ![]() treat it with full shot of carburetor cleaner. ![]() something like this should be satisfactory. or u may polish it to mirror finish Last step, install it back, secure the bolts make sure its tight, plug back the hoses, start your car. Feel the differences!! Apparatus: 1 can of carb cleaner: RM19.9 (Jusco before discount) 1 x size 12 spanner some old newspaper cloth and a can of softdrink for DIY satisfaction!
