Today i fix the open pod and tested it on the road. I find better pick up and engine tends to suck air more easily than the stock. But i encountered a problem with this hose, if i leave it open the engine will jerk. So anybody knows what is tat hose and what it does? My solution was simply taped it up.  Erm this is the air filter that comes with the air ram so i use it for temporary. Now this is the place where the hose is originally connected.   Erm catabomb how to fix the CAI? I missed the pos laju today haha, nobody is at home this morning. |

What is the hose and the function of it? My engine timing is ok after i taped the stupid hose up. If i leave it to suck air right the engine will jerk.
Catacombs ah nvm la i will try to find my own route haha. Under the battery cannot go anymore coz got gearbox. If touches the gear box housing the hose will melt leh.
Anyone know where to get cheap original apexi / URT air filter around klang valley?

Haha change to open pod wont increase the FC, its yr right foot which determines the FC to b exact. Erm the air ram and filter only cost rm60, i bought from a bro in this forum. I dont plan to use that air filter, getting Apexi dual funnel. Actually install open pod is good, right after i changed it, my engine runs smoother and the release of clutch wont jerk, last time will jerk abit coz not enuff air. Next monday i go and find kweng to change the exhaust system. Anyone knows where to get Apexi/URT air filter for less than 200 ? Anyone?? |

For me, better you upgrade your exhaust system first only you upgrade your intake. Cause although it have alot air go in, but it still lean and the exhaust gases didn't come out smoothly.. For those who really wanna upgrade a 4g13p power, I can tell you guy some realistic modified which it really useful and confirm power increase. It more worth that spend on minor accessories which didn't give real power increasing. Can show some pictures regarding the hose? Bro i think i've seen yr car. R u from PJ area? Basically i run it through the left side round hole near the power steering reservoir towards the bumper grill there. Erm i'm going to do the exhaust system tmr. Haha i always c a car like yr type parking inside food planet section 19 there wan. Erm those upgrades that u mentioned only 2,3,4 and 6 which i dun have in my mind.  So yr left refers to the car left side or when u r standing looking at the car and its on yr left? |
