Sorry, I have a more precise requirement to get the expert here to recommend a notebook for me. Thanks.

1) What is your budget?
1.5k to 4k

2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Ultraportable; 11" - 12” screen or Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen

3) Brands
a. Like: Asus, HP, etc
b. Dislike: Toshiba

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Need graphic cards that can especially support openGL for running AutoCad, 3D Max, Adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign. ETC.
Do not need a gamer graphic card.

5) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Highly mobility.

6) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games or types of games?
Not a gamer.

7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Perferably more than 4 hours.

8) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
Please recommended. Don't mind XP.

Screen Specifics

9) From the choices below, what screen resolutions would you prefer?

a. WXGA – 1280x800 or occasionally 1280x768; For people who like big text and icons that are easy to read. Less stuff fits on the screen, which translates into more scrolling.
b. WXGA+ – 1440x900; A modest bump over WXGA. Text and icons are a bit smaller. A little more stuff fits on the screen.
c. WSXGA+ – 1680x1050; The middle ground. Again, text and icons are smaller than WXGA+, and more stuff fits onto the screen. Good for having applications open side by side, like a web browser while playing a video.
d. WUXGA - 1920x1200; Very small text and icons, that can be hard to read. Lots of stuff fits on the screen, which means less scrolling. Good for applications that require a high level of detail like CAD or Photo Editing.

10) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?#
Preferably non-glossy however not a big issue. Can compromise.

Notebook Components

11) How much hard drive space do you need; 80GB to 500GB? Do you want a SSD drive?
40 GB and above.

12) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?
CDRW/DVD-ROM

if really need quadro card, dell precision m2400, starting price rm 4320.
honestly, quadro laptop is expensive, the fx370 on m2400 is just entry level, similiar to nvidia 9300m gs.
resolution nowadays run around 1366x768 and 1920x1080, rare(1440x900, 1600x900)

What would u recommended if I need better performance while running autocad and 3d Max and don't go for quadro..
Although it is recommended that graphics card that support openGL is more essential.

would you compromise on resolution to 1366x768?
benq s42 with 9600m gt, hardware wise same with quadro fx770, *maybe * can be softmod (no guarantee).
if really need the resolution, dell studio 15 and studio xps 16, can go up to 1920x1080.
*
yes i can compromise that.
