I am looking for a netbook and my budget is up to 2k... Which one is recommended? I use it to do word processing thats all... Which should I get?

2. Asus Eee PC 1000HE
3. Hp Mini 2140

I wanna get something that has long battery life and does not heat up too quickly...

P = 25W TDP, T = 35W TDP...

in layman's term, P consumes less power, so can squeeze more battery life...

no, T or P doesn't show any performance difference, only power consumption...

fyi, there's C2D P9600 and T9550, the 2 basically ve the same spec (2.66GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB), the only difference is power consumption, other wise, they are the same...

iirc, Asus M series has been retired quite some time ago, and now F series is also being slowly replaced by the U series...

Intel Centrino 2 = Intel Core 2 Duo + Intel motherboard + Intel WiFi adapter

combine the CPU, mobo chipset, wifi adapter and u get Centrino 2 platform
