Yeah sometimes their call agents can give u misleading info, and at the exhibition at KL convention centre, you actually can pay half cash / half credit.
I heard maxis have plan to sell iphone at their maxis centre only on 27 march onwards, but don’t hold my word for it, go check it out for yourself.

But for all of you maxis subscriber like me, it’s really a good deal, since I’m using maxis for a few years now, so I see no reason to change Telco. Like some of you guys already state its kinda cheap way to get the iphone.

I just got my phone yesterday, bought 2 iphone for me n wifey. So far we're both are really please with our purchase, but the funny part is, after you purchase the iphone some of their staff clap their hand in congratulating you (i assume every staff should clap but not all of them did, understandable as their been clapping their hands for 3 days), futhermore you'll get a freebie iphone polo shirt, its not from apple but come from maxis, (at least its a nice shirt to wear on the weekend)

Now the down side of the iphone which I just learn a few moments ago is that the battery is build in like all the standard ipod, so if the battery goes dead you have to send it to the apple care service centre (maxis service centre?) to change it, and the cost of the procedure is almost half of the price of the phone itself rclxub.gif (this happens to iphone users in the US, etc, dont know whether its applicable to Malaysia)

Well the warranty for the iphone and battery is for 1 year but what if (and most probably will) the battery goes out after the warranty?

Anyway it’s the best damn phone and music player ever, damn kewl

And in my humble opinion maxis gonna dominate the iphone market at least for 2 years, cause they not gonna just launch an iphone campaign and let other telcos come in play into the market, think of how many millions they spend to get the iphone deal with apple? And to recoup their investment I’m sure they have already struck a deal where they have the exclusive right to bring iphone to Malaysia at least for a few years before other telcos can get their hands on it. So for those who waiting for other telcos to bring iphone in, i say don’t hold your breath. But take note, what I just said above its only my humble opinion and assumption. Its not fact. This does not comes from maxis.

what is the meaning of advance payment ?

1day i take the phone i need to pay 1060 for iphone and 1250 for DEPO NON refund ? and 250 per months ?

adv payment is you pay for the monthly commitment in advance,
meaning if your plan is rm100, and your paying adv payment of rm400
meaning you are paying for 4 months of commitment fee in adv.
