Has any1 tried using Iphone bought from Maxis with another sim telco simcard since it's officially unlocked?

Sorry David, I've been MIA from LY forum for moons already until yesterday. Planning to get the 3GS but didn't want to switch to Maxis, hence I need a confirmation that Iphone bought from Maxis could be used on other telcos w/o the need to software unlock as mine current 2G is kinda unstable when software unlocked.

What's the normal procedure for activation, izzit to activate it with a maxis sim card and then could use with other telco sims?

Saw his posts, but EUR715 @ RM3521.70!! I'll pass it... All we could hope that Maxis or Singtel or even Apple HongKong won't be that scrupulous (I meant Apple Italy)!!!

If it's RM715, I'll place the order for at least 5 units, so every1 in the office would be using Iphone!!! yipppeeeeee .... it could only happens in a couple of years, when they launched the 5th or 6th gen Iphone, then the 3GS would become obsolete model....

Anyway, to those who are interested in the Maxis iPhone 3GS better register first then decides late once the price plan is out on 15th. Then we can know which set is cheaper, OZ, NZ, Spore or M'sia?

Well, as for me I most probably has to get it from them coz it's gonna be under company purchase!!! however, if they sells it for ridiculous price, if would be a diff story then.

Ok guys, when Maxis launched 3G in March, what was the situation? (coz at that time I wasn't interested on the 3G) They launched it nationwide simultaneously or selected outlets only? Most importanly JB got or not??? heeee

Well, it's a strenuous job and you gotta keep up. Or at least make sure ur info is 101% accurate. else...... u got some forumers...... . Great Power come with Great Responsibilites...... wonder how david keep up???

Anyway, HOPES Maxis will launch it 8G - RM2K+ 16GB - RM2.5K+ 32GB - RM3K+....... just pray.....

And to those who are planning to profit from OZ or Spore set, a piece of advise, don't be 2 greedy and bring back 2 many sets that u can't handle. Sekali Maxis sells it at OK price (with Maxis I wouldn't use the word "CHEAP"!) then ur stuck wif extra set and gotta sell at loss to recover. Just be careful, GREED kills!!!

Anyway bought their's from Machines? I wonder whether they allow Maybank treats redemption rebate?? If can, I got some 70K pts to redeem!!! at least can save RM450!!!! heeeee

8K = RM50.... 70K /8K = RM450.... but now the website link seems to have vanished!!!!

Just sold off my 2g and back to my Moto V3 for the time being and waiting for Maxis to do the honour...... I'm even more anxious as I can't live w/o it!!!! All my apps that I used on daily basis, all thousands contacts, emails and safari..... errrrgggghhhhhhhh

Tot they cleared stocks??? what to do? selling price so high so not many contemplating to get from them. Hope they learnt a lesson well...

Well, come to think of it, it's kinda worth it at RM99! I'm wif DiGi with unlimited Edge at RM66/mth. But u got 3G!!! Faster alot....
