guys, so since the maxis iPhone is officially unlocked, so basically i can get my brother who is a maxis postpaid user to subscribe to the iValue contract and then i am the one who uses the iPhone, right? as i am a hotlink user and i do not wish to change to postpaid (yet)..

hi there guys, would like to ask two questions..
1) whats the difference between maxis iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G from overseas?
2) are there functions in the iPhone 3G which are not compatible in malaysia? if yes, which ones?
thanks..

QUOTE(davidgary73 @ May 20 2009, 11:07 PM) Hey jind86..the 3G iPhone has the same spec, no diff. The only differences is the either the iPhone is lock or officially unlock. besides spec wise, any other diff? like there's difference in terms of warranty also right? like if i get an iPhone from sg i wont be able to claim warranty here isnt it?

QUOTE(Mr. Green @ May 27 2009, 09:30 PM) There actually is a Maxis Prepaid iPhone plan. You don't need to buy a Hotlink simcard if you're already using Hotlink. They also give 500MB/month data usage for 12 months. yupp, check it out here: http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/iphone/rateplan3.asp#ratebut personally i'd wait another month till the keynote for an updated iPhone
