as per .. i value ... plan ( blood sucking ) .. they are going to try to pool more people in using this iphone 3G ... cos still got lots lots of stock in their store room...

The new one would look nice , but honestly if you're looking for a simple phone + kick-ass iPod , I wouldn't hesitate to the current generation. In fact even iPhone 2G does well !

current one have 3G and GPS mah...

you're just too ignorant to take note of the rates and tariffs our local telco is charging the consumers.

try comparing the rates from maxis and singtel if you do

from a person who uses diamond2, thats easy to say out eh?
the phone is still only a necessity and not a status symbol and it all depends on whether you need it or not.

and you can always opt for a Singtel, HK, NZ or Aus set besides the means from maxis.

oh ya just one more thing, I was at the diamond2 launch, and frankly that phone is great! inserts sarcasm

er... the charges... almost the same lo... even Singtel give 1G free data, 200 minutes talk time and also 500 free SMS... is around $60++ (including tax)
maxis give 500mb free data, 333 minutes talk thats all... around RM110
but Singtel only sell at $348 convert now... 2.45 = RM857.5 (2yrs contract)
maxis offer RM1500++ for 2 yrs contract... what more you want to know...
don say that i'm ignorant by not comparing...

and u know wat... their charges is lower...

pls... i work for SG company last time... i always travel there... i know their rates... i even have their prepaid no...
furthermore my sis is over there... my mum and dad phone most of the time they get free from my sis...
coz they buy LCD also free phone... SE W595 if not mistaken... a lots of phone free here and there...

New Plan will be iData Plan which is u can using your existing plan and purchasing iPhone at RM 1700

??? do not understand??? how does it works??? what is the monthly commitment and also the usage???
how much minute talk time free??? data free??? then how many sms???

existing plan + RM 99 [ 3GB data ] + 24 months = iPhone for RM 1700

or

iValue 4 [ RM 375 ] + 24 months = iPhone for FREE

finally .. Maxis ... got the message from consumer ......" we want to keep our existing plan ( value plan ) but also want to buy a official iphone 3G ...."

well ... this is the case ... where maxis is doing all out the get us .. ( but not really all out )

as i know iphone cannot act as a modem... so surf by phone ar???

they have a lot of stock because they did not show they appreciation to their loyal customer...
the phone price also very high... compare with others... even SGD after convert also almost 1.8 times of the Singtel price...
Digi do more better to reward their customer... points system and also free phone...
