i have bean wanting to chenge to a turbo enjin but now its to expencive..
so i think of trying a biger CC enjin. what can i do?? pls help.. hope its not that expencive...

i wan to put in a 1000cc twin cam...
and may be play around with the enjin...

does thic enjin have the potencial???

just get a L2 or L5 turbo /NA. good enough for your kancil.
btw, it's not all about engine, you need to upgrade the brake and suspension system too.

I think this has been done by some/others. Your car will fly since the lightness of Kancil's chassis and the torque of that 1000cc makes. What more, the twin cam sound spinning at high revs. Just a step closer to VTEC. Minus the engagement point.

Open pod the intake, enlargen the throttle body, swap for a higher duration camshafts, 1.6 injectors swap, ported head and a good engine management. L2s? that's for breakfast. 4G15? that's for lunch. B20B for dinner.

2) how much does a l5 dics break front and back $$$ ??
3) will the JPJ aprove it ??
4) will the enjin give much trable ??

Why must you attempt something that in the future will undoubtedly cause trouble...??

Just get yourself a L2s 660cc engine which is the same engine as the standard Kancil engine but with an additional turbocharger bolted from the factory which gives quicker and stronger acceleration compared to the N/A 660cc engine...

If you get a decent half-cut, you can fit almost everything to you Kancil...

Unless you are talking about a track car, that's a different story...

1. kelisa enjin halfcut cost around 1.2k only....
2- not sure for the price....but roughly around 1k for front n rear..
3- nop....mounting not ngam....have to cut...so JPJ USUALLY dont approve...but still some owner did get approval for it...u understand la...$$$$$
4- kelisa engine wont give much trouble.reliable engine...powerful eventhough stock engine...if wit some mod...even better....

hello, thanks for the info.....

i have ask around.... but they all say that kelisa enjin is expencive... and hard to get...
-is that true ??
- it cost around 4-5k for everything haven + JPJ yet...
- the cost for workmenship is all ready RM1000. cause have tu cut here and there..
- the half cut is around 4k. but i think a just need the enjin , gear box , minyak pun ya pum. i think thats it right ??
- i was thinking around 2k only for everything... but dint think it will be 4-5k le... cry.gif cry.gif

pls help.... is it true.. they say the l2s is still cheaper than i put kelisa enjin...

kelisa halfcut 4k-5k?very exp lor...if ur budget is high,go for k3-ve or k3-vet lah.its 1300cc but bear in mind,the maintainance wont be cheap as these 2 engine is not common in m'sia.

L2 is 660cc mah sure cheap lor,go for L5 lah if u wan transplant engine,but JPJ only allows engine down/upgrade of 30% of ur current enigine.if install those halfcuts,suspension and braking is a must to upgrade.if anything more than 30% ur inspection will either be rejected or u'll nid a runner to kao tim for u for extra runner fees cost RM400-600.
