supose aFTER THE TURN OFF, u phone will start to install the new firmware.
i tried several time also.
i am VIsta user, i found it was wmplayer.exe problem so use task manager to terminateit after connect omnia, then install updater.
i suceed.

i finally succeed in updating my omnia.. : i wait until 15 min after it turn off n notin' happen so i tried to turn it back on n wallah... it's starting to downloading the update..i guess for my case i need to turn it on manually...anyway thanx for all your help guys...

hi all omnians..can someone help me with my garmin problem.. i've installed garmin n install the detailed map of qatar (middle east).i've successfully run it n locked the satellite n it is ready to navigate but when i tried to go to certain places n calculating the route it says that "unable to calculate the route.no roads near the starting point."can someone pleezz help me with this..??

i don't know whether it's bcoz of the map or not.. when i lock
the satellite it can show the exact location where i am but i can't get it to calculate the route even in the town area..

i've just only flashed it on monday..so still monitoring it..but today something weird's happening to my omnia..it's getting hotter than usual and my battery drained out in just 7 hours.. i've closed all the application through clear temp and double check it through task manager..i only send a few text msg and a few minutes call only..tonite i will keep it fully charged and monitor it tomorrow..
