Guys, I got question to ask.
1. Anyone knows how to silent the phonepad tone? Of course not through the whole system silent. 2. Why I can't Surf into maxis wap portal? Is it because my connection always connect Maxis 3G Internet but not Maxis 3G Wap? If it is how to change? |

Thanks! Didn't saw that tones thing carefully when i just swipe through all the setting. Btw anyone tried streaming TV from their Omnia?

Guys, I heard that there is an upgrade available for the touch screen by changing the screen to a much more pressure'less' touch at official service centre. Is this true?

I've been updating my phone firmware for a while now but till now I still don't understand what is phone version anyway. Like my PDA DXID1 but phone still DXIA2. One more thing is that my camera keep taking blur picture and why is that? Even at good lighting or high ISO. In the screen it looks ok but when taken it gone blur a bit.

Anyone tried changing their touch screen to a newer one? I saw the tutorial in modaco and product with kit in ebay. It seems usually you need to use a huge pressure or nail to press but the new one just need a little pressure from finger.

OMG. I asked the samsung service centre today at lowyat if no warranty and you wanted to change the screen cost RM300! Expansive~~~ I think if you say that your touch screen is not responsive they will change it for free if there's still warranty. RM300! At ebay can buy for around RM100 but DIY. Who knows is there any shop does this cheaper?

Registry one I tried already. It's still cannot compared to the new screen. As claimed by lot of people in modaco forum and videos in youtube for backup, Its like touch better than HTC touch pro and you don't need to use nail, finger will do.

I guess new omnia is shipped with the new Touch as well. I can tell you that my touch is @#$% hard to click. You must use nail only can.
