You really contradict your words against mine , last time I wanted to change my screen.  shakehead.gif
I'm sorry bro. notworthy.gif Didn't meant to be an ass. doh.gif

I went there to check-out the Omnia II and just happened that there was no queue and those Customer Service Officers are so pretty drool.gif , so I press a number for the fun of it.
To my suprise, she's willing to give it to me FOC, so why not. laugh.gif

this function actually u can set it off.. try in Setting> Power>Calling, turn off LCD when call.
if u untick this, it will never off the LCD
Hi fense,

Yes, we can do that with the Omnia, but you'll be wasting the battery.
Wherelse for the Omnia II, it will turn off the screen, but once you shift it away from your ear, the screen will wakeup without the need to do anything.

Will there be a difference if an app, lets say M2D or SPB MS3 gets installed in Device memory or My Storage? i.e speed or stability wise?

So tempted to switch to a custom ROM..... can't stand the amount of memory left in device memory on the standard Samsung ROM. Only 6MB left  sweat.gif

Dont wanna invalidate my FMG warranty if anything happens  rolleyes.gif
I can never get SPB MS3 to install in My Storage. sad.gif
Don't know why. blink.gif

Seems that i'll need to drop by the service center at Lowyat plaza.... sweat.gif but i doubt there'd be any hot lookin attendants whistling.gif

When I installed SPB MS3 the 1st time I installed it in my device memory but it took up a lot of memory. So I decided to try out M2D. It was cool interface wise but it took out even more memory! LOL. So i reverted back to MS3 but I tried the option to install it in the 8GB my storage but it still installed in my device memory rclxub.gif

Oh and I thought of getting a mirror screen protector. Think it might look great to complement the chrome tongue.gif I feel that the Invisible shield is a little to adhesive surface wise. Makes navigation using fingernails or a stylus rather well but not to good for finger tips. Just my 2 cents

I didn't even get that option. It just install directly into the device memory without asking me first. doh.gif

It's okay. But now I see my screen really needs a change, and from what you've experienced and through others in which I've read, they've all got a free screen change.

I was thinking of changing the screen for my omnia, and then trade it in for an omnia II. The 3.7" screen is really inviting drool.gif

Hey guys, i have this small problem but it's really bugging me. In the asphalt4 game, whenever I use the accelerometer, when I turn, the AI will turn as well...I was wondering how come the game become so much easier when I use accelerometer, found out that it was because the Ai kept crashing into the walls...this is more obvious when you are racing with the bike. Anyone else noticed this?

Just wondering. To those who got the new digitizer installed, does it make it any easier to type on the omnia? I find it a chore to type with the onscreen keyboard. Used fingerkeyboard and it was ok compared to the stock one. Now im using Touchpal which makes things a little better with the T9 dictionary and swipe-to-change keyboard layout biggrin.gif

Hmm.. for some reason im not really liking the stock keyboard tongue.gif Was thinking if anyone here compared the HTC touch pro's hardware keyboard with the omnia's onscreen keyboard? The hardware keyboard on the touch pro seems a little cramped up

@jnls, there have been a few con cases no matter where u buy from. LYN also got, lelong also got. its the seller not the actual forum/site that matters.
