Thank you, for the confirmation. I guess Hard Reset is the only way to go. Now got to find a day where I can squeeze some free time to do all the set-up.

Storage is the area where your installed programs resides.
Did you tried many softwares before?
Maybe they are not really clean when you uninstall them.
Try look under \Program Files folder. See what you got there which you've already uninstalled.
Did you installed M2D with various skins before? Everytime you applied a new skin, it'll drop some files into your \Windows. Of course, some will be over-written, but some will not. Maybe some other applications do the same too, I don't know.

Try cleanRAM. This is actually used to clean the RAM (Program) part, but no harm trying. Your RAM is normal as an Official Firmware though.

The best way is to make a Hard-Reset. This let you start with a clean ROM, or you may want to try the Leaked DXID1.

as I'm in the process of hard reset my omnia (still cannot find the time) I just like to share the set-up for the new Omnia.

Shell
SPB Mobile Shell
(WAD/Throttle launcher too difficult, PointUI too slow, Ultimate Launcher - not finger friendly, various today items, todayagenda, resco contact manager, elecont quick desktop/resource - difficult to manage)

System
Memaid
(SK tools too complicated not finger friendly, cleartemp good but also part of memaid)
Fingerkeyboard
(slightly better then samsung keyboard)
MyMobiler
(can control my PC remotely when connected, make life easy when installing apps, registry modification etc. -where you need to use PPC native services - not finger friendly environment)
S2U2
(make the phone looks cool and don't need to press the 'off' button to lock the screen)
Total Commander
(Registry Editor)

Calendar
Thumbcal
(try agendaone, icalendar, agendafusion but find this one the best)

E-Book Reader
ComicReader Mobi
MS Reader
Oxford 7

GPS
Garmin MobileXT
(try mapking, but garmin easier to get updated map and POI)

Games
Bejeweled2
Assasins Creed

Multimedia
S2P
S2V

I found the same problem with pointui, although it has been improved somewhat with the latest version.

The speed lag is due the applet you load (the default today is the worst in my experience). So take care of the loaded applet, make sure that the one you have is a polished version then the speed improve to an acceptable level.

Currently I'm with spb ms3 and still trying out all the imarche skins.

Watching these two threads with interest. Hopefully they can port the Omnia II interface and apps into Omnia 1.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=543101

http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...act-i8000xxig1/

The race is to put Omnia ROM to include interface/apps of omnia 2.

May be the gurus in LYN can beat these two teams?
