Omnia got built in gps rite? i ady solved the above probs, i went outside my house and the signal is full. the prob now is when i try to search addressess in that garmin software, it says ---> detailed maps are required to use this feature.......

i ady copy the gmapsupp.ing into mystorage/garmin. anything that i must do or try? thanks in advance

try using malfreemap from link below.

and it update every week.
i also got this problem before, n after put malfreemap, problem solved

No necessary.
before u use garmin program. try go to ur setting in Settings>External GPS.
1. In program tab, select an COM for ur program. I pout COM3
2. In hardware tab>GPS hardware port put COM9 and bandrate 4800
3. Access tab, click automatically

it work prefect with me.
normally first locking of satelite will be longer time. u can make it faster by click on new location (in garmin), then change ur locatin on the map to a place near ur current location.

if want fast detect signal. must update XTRA Data Download
go to ----Setting>System>Enhanced GPS....and update XTRA data download.
normally the data will expired in 7days, so, need to update back.

MFM is already giving free maps. No any contribution needed.

its free la bro..u can update using free wifi at wifi zone..
or u can download it using pc sync..

-connect ur pc to internet
-connect ur omnia to ur pc
-then press XTRA Data Download in Enhance GPS
-wait until it say successful

or maybe u dunno what to do wif ur prepaid or ur bill then u can download using 3G connection

may i ask another question please... hmm, if i am connected to a wi-fi connection. how to make sure that web browsing, messenger and all the internet related stuff is connected using that wifi? i am afraid that my hp will use my maxis prepaid to surf the interet when i have the wifi connection

anybody facing problem when connect to maxis gprs?i already installed settings from maxis but i still can't connect to gprs thus i cannot download my mms and using gprs online.i check my setting it seem like all correct and pointed to maxis setting.dunno what wrong
