Refer to the title, where should we check the owner of the land?
I would like to rent a land, but not idea where i should go.
Any idea?

Land office lor... they are computerised but ask to look for the physical title if you can. And once you see that it's the rightful owner's name, or when it's transferred to you name, dig up all caveats, clear them and then put tons of caveats in there. There are so many land scams nowadays, sigh...

I dont understand. Why a lot of caveats? And why we need to put tons of caveats back?

Sorry it should be to clear all caveats if any by the previous owner before it can be transfered, and put in caveats when it's already in your name. This is to prevent other ppl from putting caveats in there, and in most cases this can render them SOMEHOW becoming the rightful owner of the land. I met a lawyer specializing in cases like this and man I tell you the many ways this are being done...
