Hi,

I have checkout the Iphone user manual here at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/871684 and google for information but still cannot.

It seems Apple has change the registration process and disable the "other" option for credit cards.

So can I purchase a iTunes gift certificate and use it to create a US iTunes account?

Any help is really appreciated since I am stuck with this Malaysian account.

EDIT - I am worried that the gift certificate can be used only one time to access US iTunes. Please help a noob here.

bro... here's what ure going to do for free registration...

1. open the itunes
2. go to itunes store
3. browse for free apps.
4. click the free apps and then an info about the apps and there's a get apps button. click that button.
5. then it will prompt to username and password, above that there is a create account button. click on it.
6. fill the forms and at the payment, click the none at the most far right at ur payment method...
7. fill the forms and make sure u use valid U.S address (u can google this) and voila... done....!


This is confirm work.., test it just a few minutes ago....

you gotta register via the App Store in iTunes Store. like what g3n0c|d3 said, go to App Store & browse for free apps. then 'Get Apps' then register. make sure you're using a valid US address & Zip code.

please close up this thread once you've found the solution.

I am stuck at step 6 since there is no more "other/none" option.
