The anti-glare/matt type screen protector you guys talking about, does it feels errmm...'rough'? If you know how an embossed book wrapper feels like, then you know what i mean.

QUOTE(Rinyuu @ Oct 26 2008, 03:11 PM) i have used 6 sp since i bought the iphone. From my experience the worst i use is mirror sp.Easy to scratch and got many fingerprints. Then im not satisfy i bought another one mirror sp, this time are more more expensive. It was sad to see cos easy to scratch. Then i tried matte/anti glare, really satisfy me for few months, then i realised that the brightness are so dim. Finally i change back to clear type normal one. RM15 each. Thank you for the explanation. I've so far tried 2 types of screen protector - mirror and normal. Both like you said, are prone to fingerprints and scratches. I am looking forward for an anti-glare/matt type screen protector. The price at Garage Sales is a bit steep though - RM35. I don't really mind turning up my screen brightness to compensate the dimness caused by the screen protector though. But does the surface feels like an 'emboss book wrapper'? Sorry for being overly particular about it My advise,if u want to use mirror sp,must bundle with leather casing like n95 so it wont scratch the sp. Matte or anti glare type suitable for all casing type.No fingerprints and scratch proof but very dim. Clear type. Scratch proof better than mirror type. Make sure u guys bought the full cover sp,some without covered at home button. The dust will stick at home button if not full covered. |

Ok, this is not exactly a problem but i need to if anyone knows where can i get anti-glare, matt type screen protector besides the Garage Sales here? And yes, I've checked with a seller who is previously selling it but he doesn't have stock anymore. I am looking to purchase this at a shop or something so does anyone know?
Your help is much appreciated. Thanks |

QUOTE(wilsoncvt @ Nov 17 2008, 02:59 PM) I bought and tried the matte version. Works great against fingerprints but I opted for the clear type instead because I'm anal about keeping the screen as close as it originally is. Thanks again mate. I'll drop by soon |

I don't usually update my firmware (even though at that point of time, an unlock method is already available) unless there is huge improvements or new features that come along with the it. Installing and reconfiguring everything again is not that fun.
