yo, sry for my noob question but cannot seem to find a proper template around ../duno your replies for 2g or 3g...

anyway i bought a third hand iphone 3g and full of things inside.....and its unlock (not by turbo sim) i wanna wipe out everythign ler....is my following method correct?/

1. Restore to 2.1 (although I am on 2.1 now) to clear the memory and stuff
2. then quickpwn to jailbreak and (to tick activate + unlock) in the selection too
3. then i will have a clean and fresh iphone 3g rite? and it will be unlock as initial tooo rite??

what the latest firmware now??
