Current Firmware : 2.1
iTunes Version : 8.0.0.35
Computer Platform : XP SP2
Jailbreaking software : Quickpwn 2.1

Problem Encountered : Its like this: I used to download apps from the appstore before this, through itunes and wifi, but they worked fine. till yesterday, when i downloaded more from itunes, about 10 of them, synced to my iphone, restarted it, and then all my downloaded apps cannot be opened. When i try to open, they will jump back to my main screen. Only downloaded apps wont work, but all the phone apps (SMS, contacts, notes, etc) will work.

Steps Had Taken (list down) : Restarted the phone like 5 times, synced again through itunes, use bossprefs to 'fix user dir permissions', none worked.

This is what i did: Deleted all the apps on my phone and re-synced. All of them works again. But the sad thing is all my to-do list and savegames are all gone.
Anyways, thanks again guys. (maybe its time for me to upgrade to 2.2 )

Guys, any idea how to de-activate the annoying 'vibrate-by-itself-when-u-havent-read-your-sms-es' syndrome?

Hi guys. I dont know where to ask this.

I have a US itunes account and just bought a $100 gift card. When i want to redeem it, it says:

"Your iTunes Store (US) does not match that of the gift certificate (Canadian)"

Anyone can help?

So can i open a canadian itunes account then? What will happen to my apps and songs downloaded using my US itunes account? Will they sync?

Mine's the same. After i upgraded my phone to FW 2.2, i realised the screen is a little dimmer even when i set at the same brightness as before. But after a couple of weeks, im used to it already.
