for any iphone 3G user,ur battery life last how long??

am not sure wat happen to my phone,but it doesnt last more than 8 hours,phone is
fully charge b4 i sleep,and after i wake,10% left,i was like wtf!!!

is my battery problem or wat?

I can't on my phone, it shows the connect to itunes logo thingy there.
when i plug in my phone to iTunes, they ask if i want to restore, when click yes and leave it to restore, till the next morning the restoring status bar is still in red. HELP ME PLS!

Guys, I am trying to upload new ringtones. I have converted a few mp3 and wavs to m4r using iRinger.

The thing is if I drag the files from explorer to iTunes > devices > iphone > rintones folder, the files are transfered and listed in iTunes successfully but when I view either in alarm or ringtones configuration, it is listed quite weird.

Only 1 file is successfully transfered and that same file is listed all the way. Let say I transfered 10 ringtones, it will only transfer 1 file but list the same file 10 times. Yes, I have tried playing the files and all of them is the same one.

Is iTunes or Iphone buggy?

Please don't ask me to use the jailbreak way since I don't want to jailbreak my Iphone for now.

I'm having iphone 2g,the problem is  when the phone is lock/sleep, i press the top right button to unlock it but i can't 'slide to unlock'. However, if i press the lock/sleep button again, now can slide. Inside got no problem with touching at the same area. I absolutely helpless with this matter. Anyone encounter this prob before?

any iphone users here konw whats the problem with it??? coz its really frustrating when i cant slide the button to receive calls...sometimes need to press the power button then only can slide to answer the call.....but sometimes nothing can be done....

iPhone 2G running on FW2.2, sometimes when i plug it into my pc, open itunes..the silver pineapple logo appears and stuck there like forever. What is the problem? Should I upgrade to 2.2.1 to avoid this problem?

That's happened few days ago , i decide to clear all data for my iphone 3g and it turn to no battery when it is clearing data. Now when i switch on it just stucked at apple logo . Any solution ?

Im having problem with "Call Failed" try the recommendation below but i not managed to toggle it to ON.

Call always showed "CALL FAILED".
Go to Settings/Phone/SHOW MY CALLER ID - toggle ON

Iphone from maxis plan but used with Celcom3g

anyone knows how to solve this problem:
after erasing all settings n datas for my iphone 2g, whenever i switch on the phone, the apple logo stays forever, n i can't access my phone at all. tq

cuz itunes cannot read the contents of iphone, and requires a restore. Now i trying to solve it..

Hi, have already tried the method that davidgarary73 mentioned. However, it doesn't have any response. I put it in DFU mode, and itunes can detect the phone in recovery mode. However, when itunes is preparing the iphone for restore, this msg comes out. " the iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occured(1601)" Anyone can help out with this? TQ

i want to keep the 2.7 version cause it's free...

how do i backup my application?

i figure out how to do for iTunes apps..but for bitesms, i dunno the way...thanks...

Added on May 3, 2009, 2:00 pmfrom one of the forum out there...here's the solution ..i need to get the DEB file for bitesms first...but then run terminal means what?

run terminal and access to the folder that holds the xxxxxx.deb file

type : dpkg -i xxxxx.deb

u can install terminal in your iphone or run the terminal from WINSCP.

After install u can remove the .deb file if you wan..and refresh yr phone..shld be able to see the icon.

Uninstall thru cydia as per norm.

Alright,my sister has a friend over in US and she is planning to ask her friend to buy the iphone over there and bring it over here.
But she's worried about the iphone after it's unlocked in Malaysia.
She asked me to ask owners that owns an UNLOCKED Iphone.

ah dammit, shit happens.

i dropped my iphone on solid ground earlier today.

somehow between the chrome bazel and back plastic case split open. although it's only about 1mm or so, still its such an eye-sore and honestly am abit worried if water managed to go in and screw up the hardware.

is it possible to hand the phone to Maxis for repair work, either completely change the back case or will they not accept as my phone is purchased from Singtel?

opinions needed.
