Stephen Fry just posted up a ginourmous blog post on smart phones. He talks about them in general and also reviews some of the new smartphones namely the Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Storm and the HTC G1 Android.

The iPhone is literally set as the benchmark throughout the whole post and any iPhone owner in here or gadget freak who appreciates reading long articles (like give or take 10,000 word long!) will find Stephen Fry's insight pretty damn interesting. This guy is an extreme self professed smartphone addict of sorts (who here can say they've bought more than 5 iPhones for separate usage functions!?) and he LOVES the iPhone.

yesterday fully charge my phone trough my mac (normally i charge trough power outlet)

from yesterday 2am, till now, battery still full, usage like normal, 48 minutes, 11 hour standby
seems that my problem is by charging trough power outlet, tonite will try charging by power outlet and see how it goes

just wanna share.....

i found out tht my batt do last longer when charging to usb than to the charger itself....

seldom charge using the charger due to downloading songs and some mods... hahahahahaha

and the fact is... its last longer than full charge with the phone charger...

how to watch video directly from safari?

Guys.... how is FW 2.2? Is it stable now? Anybody can help me to upgrade/jb from 2.1? PM to discussed more.

around an hour or so.... if batt really dries around 1 1/2 hours or more...

HI iphone sifus....

Do you ppl use facebook apps? anyway when i login to the facebook is ok, the problem starts when i tap on the "notification" the whole facebook just shut off n brings you back to the home page...the troubleshoot i did was delete the facebook and resync back again...but prb still persists.

anyone encounter this? thanks

Hi... i also got try facebook with iphone... and i use the actual web size.. hmm.. when i open the open App Games inside auto will just shut off and bring to iphone spring board... i think the memory cannot handle too much and it just crash and auto close the safari

mine n my BIL have the same issue, once i click it, in a few seconds it jump back to homepage, even afater restarting the phone also same issue

btw, my iphone till now, still haven shown 20%, last charge, yesterday 2 am, later will charge by power outlet and see is there any difference

Iphone 3G doesn't have video call or front camera . it is just 3G data packet...

bought an iphone 2g for myself. using nokia n95 before this. the iphone was on 2.1 jailbroken. for the truth i don't even know anything about iphone and how to jailbroken/unlock it. i spare my time reading all the post and guide on this iphone section and within 45 minute im fully sucess upgrade my iphone to 2.2 jailbroken and upload cydia application with the guide given. thank a lot for the guide, tip and tricks specially with the on/off edge. if i don't read it i might lost all my prepaid credit =( good job guys XD

Computer Platform : windows xp pro

Jailbreaking software : cydia

Problem Encountered : im trying to change my icon ( transparent look nice ) reading winterboard section since need to learn how to do it. i manage to find the icons i wanted but the is no proper guide on what software should i used to transfer. i did try winscp but keep failed beside i really confuses, it said need to find wifi network but what if i dont have any wifi around my house since im using a normal modem and not wifi router. is there any easy way for window xp user like me. i did download open ssh and sbsettings from cydia

Steps Had Taken (list down) : try to google but as a new comer for iphone i dont really understand the method
