Hi bro,

I am not aiming for 4ghz. My main purpose to overclock is as follow

1) to save some budget!! in order to be able to run most recent game at high setting using cheap cpu/mobo with air cooling.
2) increase cpu slighly (3ghz or lower) in order not to bottleneck ati 4670 / 4830 / 4850 / 4870 . it would be better if u guys can explain cpu lowest speed for each card in order not to throttle the gc power.
3) overclock with stock cooling
4) overclock with value ram
5) Be able to play game at res. 1900x1080 (22' or 24')

My initial thought is using e5200+cheapest (< rm200) mobo ? anyone can recommend any other good motherboard? which of the following g/p31 is better? biostar/gigabyte/asus.

e7400 is rm150+ . any sense to use that instead of e5200?

hope can get some advice. thanks

e7400 is rm150? or rm150 more than e5200? if u found e7400 selling at rm150, let me know pls! anyway, im using e5200 and also looking to oc with the same spec (1-4) as urs. currently i only know how to set the fsb, and im getting 3ghz on stock cooling. prime95 stable but temp under load is 70c and idle around 40-49c. using asus g31 mobo.
