since his location is in UK....i'm sure Pioneer 32" LCD tv is available there pawnage lcd

not really recommend dell 3008 if u're mainly for console...its 16:10, no black bars but image it'll b stretch a little bit, it also require u to spend quite some time to tweak d color to bring up better black levels

fyi, some drawbacks,
no remote control?
highly priced coz its 2560x1600
high % of backlight bleed(% lower for rev. a02)
