You need a better table for that PS3

I agreed a bit messed up at my power socket area.

There are 4 wires over the area.
1) telephone line for Dect phone & streamyx.
2) Dect phone power cord. Not long enough to my desk .
unless get another extension cord.
3) Extension cord to LCD TV & PS3.
4) Extension cord to AVR & subwoofer.

Normally, I will unplug both extension cords after used.
Worry about lightning strike.

Bought PS3 slim just to play Super Street Fighter 4 since it would be out for PC for at least the next few months (probably longer)
