This is a semi-serious school action story which revolves around Tomoharu Natsume, a boy who has been haunted by a ghosty girl who was a childhood friend.
Based on a novel written by Mikumo, who also wrote a novel based on Takashi Shiina's Zettai Karen Children manga, which was adapted into anime.

Second thing I noticed apart from the M4A1 carbine: I keep getting vibes of "I SAW A MASAMUNE!"
anyhow, compared to Toradora, Index, Shana etc this series is somehow a bit of an alien title, compared to Toradora and Index in which I already learned a bit about them before they aired. Sooo gonna watch.
Oh, but you can tell her to wait outside + obligatory "No peeking" rite...
like thats gonna happen, but hey, that can be fun... i mean, you can only be shy for so much... right?
=edit= oh yea watched it... i was a lil lolwut'ed as i didnt read up whats it about, thought it was some drama/slice o life/comedy animu, but omgwut mecha XD pretty much picked it for the girl ghost floating around guy thingy
not bad for an ep1 too id say... looks like a typical mecha/boy gets stuff and go pew pew anime, but that aint too bad either when done right

Many ppl on Tomo's side died. And from the preview, the setting seems to be changed to the one in OP (Ania become Gambit, Toru wielding dual katana etc, monsters appearing etc)

she is first stage world ania. and i dont see toru wielding dual katana.i think shd be the track team gal. and i think he becomes an asura cryin since he is able to summon a monster(daughter maybe?).

season 2 seem to be a bit popular about people here, japan there i don't know. hope can see high ratings for this anime.

to me, first world is like a normal and peaceful world without knowing bout asura machina, daughter, super human abilities etc... so that's why aki is fighting normally and depends on her will power to defeat the daughter...

Aine, Shuri, and Yukari are so much different from 2nd stage world... Finally some one-hit-kill action from Aki Tomo has his demon ability awaken. Nia loves 1st stage world Tomo, so no chance for the 2nd stage world Tomo ; well he did reunite with Misao and Kurogane
To me EX023 is like so rushing. Everything just suddenly happened and finished. Although Kurogane Kai is really cool. Shed a tear for 1st Stage World Misao
seriously, they should drop all the useless filler. it was great show, with "ZOMG TIME PARADOX" stuff like that. the filler almost let me down but i cant just gave up since it has lots of hole in the plot, which still making me watch it.

+1 Agree. They spend a whole episode on some pointless talking and just one sentence on how the 1st stage world is dying and where the daughters are coming from. And saving the world takes only a one-minute battle...
not a bad finale, love the fighting part has the light novel ended? hope they have season 3... but seems impossible to continue unless suddenly they have new machina... haha...
