Toys R Us having up to 50 percent off on many rise of cobra toys.
Seems this line is quite a flop, couldn't move the 79.90 stocks, now slashed to 39.90
NightRaven even slashed to 149.90
Regular joe figures from 39.90 to 29.90

QUOTE(dzirhan @ Dec 27 2009, 06:10 PM) Well, I think Hasbro Malaysia expected the movie toys to move fast but given the current financial environment, I would say that was fairly optimistic, as always certain figures and vehicles moved during the movie run but then things pretty much slowed down. There's mixed reports in the US as how the figures are doing but indication was that the initial higher price point and the fact that it's not a great year financially for the average american played a part in it. There are certain things in the joe line which moved well, the Target packs are basically all gone and most of the later wave figures are also gone, wave 1 and 2 are the only ones largely to be found but I suspect Hasbro produced these in larger volumes to cater for purchase by moviegoers (and similarly Hasbro Malaysia bought larger numbers of these) and the later waves in smaller number factoring that the those inspired by the movie would drop out and leaving the regular collectors left. I'll give it time though, we could be like Transformerss now, when figures are scare and suddenly a glut comes in. The problem isn't overstocking, but hiking/jacking up prices ridiculously. Hasblow Malaysia is the most greedy ******* toy company ever. No problems with the US company but I don't even know if the Malaysian version is qualified to be called hasbrow. They really give the company a bad name.
