well. Red Star is available in Comic Pack With Duke..Daina is pretty hawt..i wish for a figure of her in 25th design.not forgetting Dragonsky.both are my all time OG favs.

I remembered in the Image comics, Destro sent Baroness away in a jet ,piloted by Wraith..correct me if i'm wrong but it's been few years since i read that issue..when the jet took off,it exploded...what happened to Wraith?in Elite,Baroness was held captive by the Joes,her child taken from her.

was this during the 12 parter World War 3?

remember these covers?freakin awesome lineup of every Joe and Cobra characters.

BB was showcased as a Hasbro custom IINM..but i miss Toxo Viper and Hydro Viper.i wonder if they are still in my storage box back in parent's home.

-if you want to start fresh,get the IDW monthly offering series ,titled G.I. Joe.
-if you want to know what GI joe is all about and want to go retro,it's Marvel comics' 155 issue run..IDW is publishing TP reprints of Marvel's run..thus far i think Volume 4 is out.
-if you want a more mature themed GI Joe ,then its America's Elite.
-or if you want good looking artwork,high tech weapons and gear plus new outfit for existing characters,its Image/DDP's self title GI Joe series consisting 43 issues IINM.


as for me,the first ever major collision of GI Joe vs Transformers by Marvel Comics back in 80s is awesome.
also,the above mentioned Image series.and 1 particular digest in B+W featuring ninjas in action with no dialogue titled Arashikage Showdown.

the first Joe vs TF was reprinted in TP format by Marvel,i think back in late 80s.i have both the 4 separate issues and the TP..got them quite cheap many years ago.you have to try your luck on this one.but if you want the digital scans of the 4 issues,i can upload them.

i think there are 4 volumes of the newer series...i agree Volume 1 is freakin awesome for the art of both Joe and TF.
by volume 4,the art truly deteriorated.
also ,do you remember TF vs GI Joe ..the setting was in World War 2.artwork sucks but the story is unique.

the problem is ,after attaching the tail fin,its hard to detach. i tried to yank it out but gave up as i'm concerned something will break..it takes up too much space...damn.

well,,scalpers do tend to lurk around ,searching for tips and info that will help them hoard more stuff..
perhaps PMing is a better solution rather than public posting.

then it depends on luck.consider that as an act of helping fellow collector.but at least only 1 or 2 person knows the info rather than anyone who reads the posts.

i have been rather patient and been getting almost all ROC figures released thus far...but its all about timing and regular visits..

how much is Snarler...Rollbar is pretty impressive although he;s an Airborne repaint..hope TRU will bring them in...

bro quiksilve ,absolutely stunning custom..SE looks kinda buff but still retains his commando look.now all you need is SS for ninja action.

i'm rather stoked by reading the Mantis reviews and pics courtesy of Fatimus and SWIlike.you guys have poisoned me..was at TRU Pg earlier but nada on new arrivals..possibly over the weekend,so says the manager.

the plus point is the figure AKA Lamprey repaint which comes with removable helmet. but the head sculpt has got to go..will grab two Mantis once it arrives at TRU..

SeeGies all undergo plastic surgery so each one has uniformity in terms of facial identity.and the scary thing is these guys are placed in strategic locations and positions in fields that benefits Cobra organisation.and their leaders, Tomax and Xamot,equal top business manipulators and stock picking experts.
CC look to these guys to fund Cobra's various operations .

i think there's 10 figs per case and only 2 cases arrived. no sign of Mantis or Snarler..

here's today's haul.got 2 more SEs coz i need the sheathe.
notice that this time,SE is packed with gray Timber instead of black .DA Duke also has a small tag on upper left of his card that says "Join The Team".

what's with the dreads?i dont feel it.
on the other hand,Duke's vest looks awesome..another winner to me.Duke figures are progressively getting better with each release, starting from the first Joe boxset.
BH's vest is simply ,simply awesome!a sure buy.plus he comes with a different gas mask from Shockwave's.

i want SDCC twinpack Destro..even the box design is worth buying but the best part is Destro with removable facemask..awesome!Baroness is sold in local toy shops though the price is simply unappealing..RM100 is the most i will pay for her but to put her in the same price tag as a Hot Toys figure ,that's plain daylight robbery.

i was at another TRU outlet,hunting for more DA Duke..the staff brought out two cases (12 figs per case)of C1 W2 Rev? that i mentioned yesterday..the thing is,both cases had been opened and inside were missing PP SE,1 from each case.
i asked the staff and i got the "I dont know" reply.
the other figures were left untouched tho.

which leaves me to conclude that if you are "buddy-buddy" with the staff or come to an under the table arrangement ,then you can have your stuff reserved just for you..

personally ,i have never tried either method.i did ask the staff to reserve certain items for me,several times in the past but i usually get the same response.

1) "new arrivals ,no reservation"
2) "manager will scold me if i reserve"
3)"if reserve ,then customer didnt collect after few days,then how?"
4)"TRU policy is no reserve"

have you guys tried to reserve items from TRU successfully?

Firefly is a freaking awesome,must buy figure.
again,DUke gets better treatment ,hence also must buy.he fits what i need for some customs.
the drone that comes with exclusive CC looks cool..hmm.
SS is a must get for the accesories.
