PIT Recon Trooper

As the name implies ,the PRT's primary responsibility is to patrol and perform reconnaisance on the areas surrounding the hidden PIT.
Although the PIT is equipped with the latest surveillance systems ,the presence of humans patrolling the surrounding areas is necessary in case Cobra forces or other uninvited individuals make their way towards the PIT undetected.

Thanks bro.I like to give my customs more gear and stuff without hampering it's range of movement / articulation.

I'll pass on the Cobra Command Center.The ROC PIT is awesome in it's design and no doubt so will the Cobra's version.My PIT is still stored in it's box,disassembled of course.

For the new CCC,It'll be cooler if hasbro included rolling treads for the HISS docking bay ,activated by the pressing of a button or slider.Hence the HISS or other similar sized vehicles will assume a forward/reverse loading/unloading action ,which is more realistic IMO.

Well,considering that's what happened to the ROC PIT,I doubt Hasbro Malaysia wants a repeat incidence.
So ,there's a high chance we won't be seeing the command center hitting retail.
Sure wish Star Wars "kambing" receives same RM1++ clearance price.

Added on April 22, 2011, 4:52 pmWith TF3 hitting cinemas in July and the new Joes probably hit retail around July-August,Hasbro Malaysia will most likely stock up on TF figures and forsaking the Joes.
The low sales of ROC toys which prompted low clearance prices is not something Hasbro tend to forget anytime soon.Plus the market demand for GI Joe in Malaysia is generally lower.

AV is based on classic 80s trooper but ST is a modern, all new figure ,with updated weapons and accesories.
Buy both since they are in hot demand.

I doubt there'll be an encore.

I wanted to focus on troop building a single type of trooper and naturally the POC AV is my top choice.
As for the stands ,I was lazy to retrieve them from the storage box so just grabbed the nearest stands.

Btw,that's quite a sizable army you've got there .

Saw 1 at PG toy shop earlier today but selling at retail price..Will wait for clearance.
Looks like you have lots of ST that you even lost count..spam them la..maybe on par with my AV army..
You got Helix.that's one ROC fig i haven't gotten till now .Lazy to source for her though.How much did you pay for her?

More haul for today.
Sapued all Quick Kick.

The left hand has tighter weapon grip compared to the right.
If positioned properly ,he can also hold the snakes.
As for Quick Kick,I agree the grip is rather loose on the katana.Perhaps manually squeezing in the fingers might produce better results.

The only cracking you'll be doing is on the torso.Other than that,it's pretty safe.
I'd wrecked 2-3 figs trying to crack the torso open ,hence all my customs does not involve cracking.

As for Skystriker, I won't be getting any.I'm more towards ground vehicles.Most likely will grab the VAMP.
I saw the Cycle Armor listed on evilbay for a ridiculous pricin of over RM200 inc. shipping.

Anyways, some good news on GI Joe 2 courtesy of Hisstank.

* Storm Shadow will have a new look in GI Joe 2
* Lee Byung Hun will leave for the US later this month, for site preparation for GI Joe 2, which includes martial arts training.
* Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow(said to be more powerful than before) are said to have more intense confrontations in the movie.

Well, it's your choice then bro.But I still suggest trying on 1 figure.God knows how many figs I had damaged in the past.
The upcoming VAMP is a repaint of POC's version .I skipped POC's as I prefer it in green ,to match my 25th VAMP.
Yeah, SS with coat was and still, is horrible ,not to mention on the action figure,it hindered SS's leg movement.

Avoid moving the chest area then .
But seriously,I have not encountered paint chipping on the chest area.On the joints ,yes but not the torso.
Once you crack the torso apart ,it won't fit back properly.There's a chance the fig is damaged.

That is the area I was referring to.
It's not easy to crack it open without damaging it in some way,at least that's my experience.
But for normal poses,that area won't be revealed and if your fig is wearing a vest, it's not necessary to paint it.

And yeah, applying putty works to seal the crack lines.

Some of you might be wondering why I purchased 13 Quick Kick.
It's bcoz I realise the potential for an easy and very cheap new trooper custom - Cobra Neo Ninjas.

Furthermore,I have over a dozen Neo Vipers lying inside my discarded pile (Yeah I hate ROC Neo Vipers.Not just the head, but the vest,gloves,shorter legs,backpack and guns.).Didn't want to buy any if possible but they were packed with other figs.

The Neo Ninjas are carefully selected from among the best Neo Vipers.
They are equipped with enhanced speed,agility and strength ,along with ninjitsu training by Storm Shadow.
Their purpose : to eliminate the G.I. Joe Ninja Force and especially Snake Eyes.
