hmm this batch not that tempting to me( me only ).

but seriously i think the shadow storm face sculpt is very well done in this one. Really looked like that actor

yeah, some argue if based on royalties SW figures is more popular, GI JOE ROC is still new,yet expensive yet we buy

yaaaa. that is why now only deciding to get that destro and 2 vipers set.

cause that is the most reasonable price 20++ for 1 fig.

lowyatben: It depends on what your liking anyway lol, for me i collect mostly on Cobra units and some Joes. But the Para Viper is the most well sought figure even in the US. It comes with buckloads of accessories...

1) Helm
2) Goggles
3) Halo pack
4) Gas tubings
5) MP5
6) Light machine gun with stock
7) Web shoes
8) Combat knife

yes..this is just the prelude to GI Joe...hence the sub title Rise Of Cobra.the next one will have CC as main villain..but in the comics,he was a car salesman before starting CObra organisation.

hmm that duke disguise, does he has a helmet provided?

if yes then this set is worth to buy.

jstbid: From the looks of the pack, yes, Duke comes with a hat and a gas mask, but this is unsure if he has more or not

IN that case, then perhaps this is a better set to collect with most of the figures that'd caught my attention. However, if Hasbro were to OVERprice it, then I'll just stick to Star Wars. Consider it a warning, Hasbro!

lowyatben: Yup, that's the Para Viper, it hasn't been released yet...possible this week, or this month, or the next.

What about The Doctor?

just returned from toy-hunting..TRU has Target Exclusive Wave 1 selling at RM49.90 each!!!!and i was paying RM80 each few weeks back at local toy shops...so now's the time to stock up on Eels with Wave Crusher..
i went to 2 TRU outlets and each one had only 2 Eels on display.also,Wave 2/3 is very limited..only 1 each of Cover GIrl,HD RA and Deep 6 available...i saw about 2 SS and CC ..no DA Scarlett or Ice Viper tho...also only 1 outlet has Ice Dagger (2 available).

I am actually really glad, that they are coming out with the para viper,as the 25 ani edition was great and pack with accessories! BEN THIS IS SOMETHING SW WONT OFFER!

Para Viper will be the first step for me to mass build the army.

here's the review and pics on Ice Dagger..this bad boy is a definite buy at RM119.90.i was expecting it to be around RM150-200.haven't apply stickers on the vehicle but will probably get that done tomorrow.
so here we go with the review.

Packaging
-------------

beginning ROC line,the vehicles are packed in a more eye-catching way.the flaps are designed in a cool way.

here's the contents inside the box.
stickers and instruction sheet are included with a plastic bag storing the missiles, a gun (to be attached above the canopy) and radar dish and antenna.
Frostbite comes without any weapons or accesories..cmon Hasbro ,at least give the guy a sidearm or a knife.


The Dagger
-------------

here's a pic of the vehicle's bottom .there are 3 mini wheels and you can roll the vehicle forward and backward.pretty standard stuff.the treads are not movable,same with the HISS tank.



the vehicle in "battle mode".
push a button on the rear and the two side panels flip open, thus allowing the top mounted gun station to spring into action .


the front skis can rotate left and right plus downward (but not all the way).it can't go upwards though.

the Dagger is place side by side with VAMP and HISS tank.without a doubt ,our bad boy is the winner in terms of size.


the gunner station is where the 4 missiles are located .adjacent to the radar ,there are 2 buttons when pressed, fires two missiles on each side.



Storage Capacity
--------------------

now here's where this vehicle is most awesome. with space for 8 figures ,i believe this has to be the largest capacity vehicle for the price range .



there are pegs above the treads although you have to bent the figure's leg sideaways ,which is absurd.



poor Stalker has to cramp inside the back compartment .

and finally, just for the fun of it...Snow Serpents being attacked by the Ice Dagger...looks like this will be a short battle.



in closing, you won't regret buying this fine product by Hasbro..this will do for the time being while waiting for RHINO.

cool review of the dagger....its reminiscing the vintage H.A.V.O.C + snowcat imho...

anyways, ive decided againts selling off my joe collections...thanks to u guys poison!!! lol

on that note, will hunt for a couple of (or maybe 3) cobra gunship and repaint it to joe colours...
