Are you referring to the US Army figure ?If yes ,then the figure can hold the rifle and baretta with no problems .
Only thing is the pistol holster does not have a proper grip when storing the baretta .

Some breaking news from Toy Fair 2011...

2012 will be the 30th Anniversary of the Joe Vs Cobra mythos. A lot of things happening in 2012 so they are starting earlier to celebrate. 30th for 35th. 30 items celebrating this landmark anniversary, 12" are back as well. Brand New look, it will be tightly focused for collectors.

- The 12" figures will be kid targeted and be more military not Joe Vs. Cobra oriented.

- Hasbro has listened to fans on the 3.75 line-up for this line.

- Look for a new look for the line, G.I.Joe, Cobra, Renegades will be in one assortment but the differences in the line will be reflected on the cardbacks. So you will know which ones are Renegades.

- Haek, Cobra Trooper looks to be female from the image shown, Steel Brigade, Blowtorch, Jungle BAT and Cobra Commander will be in wave 3 Spring and be on the POC cardbacks. These look like ARAH figures except for Hawk. Lots of accessories.

- Wave 1 of Fall will see the debut of Renegades. Firefly, Techno Viper, Hazard Viper, Cobra Commander, Snake-Eyes and Duke. These will not be done in animated style like say Clone Wars. So they match the animated stylings but using the existing tools though they are creating new tools as well. Basically they will have the costumes of Renegades but be done in 25th/POC style.


- Vehicles Black Dragon Vtol, Crimson Hiss Tank, Vamp.

- 25th Anniversary style Skystriker will be on shelves Fall 2011. Looks like the original. Comes with ACE. It is retooled. It will hold 1 figure, not 2 because they couldnt make it to hold 2 of the new figures.No Parachute either.

- Comic Con will be a Transformers/GIJoe Starscream Skystriker with Cobra Commander and Megatron blaster. Doesn't Transform, just a redeco of the regular Skystriker.

- There will be more stuff for this 30 for 35th anniversary line later this year.

Duke's a pure win(stern,no-nonsense new face sculpt ,reuse of POC Wave 3 SE's upper legs with silencer holder)
CC's a drag queen!(gimme a break)
and FF (looks pretty much like Sideshow's version, sans camo paintjob on the jacket.awesome!)



SE (ROC CSSE repaint with new backpack and gun..boring )



Hazard Viper (repaint of ROC Volcano Viper...score two for boring effect )



Techno Viper (sweet mutha' ,indeed what I had hoped for.Another one for troop building!and he comes with a cone and shovel plus pistol and working holster..damn)




Conclusion
------------

Things are looking good for me as I don't need more than one of each figure (maybe 2 Duke and 2 FF) ,with the exception of troop building Techno Viper.
Also ,Hasbro implements their 25th /ROC /POC designs for the Renegades line rather than going with a more anime ,ala Star Wars Clone Wars look.

Viper (reuse of ST's torso and legs ,with 25th Viper's head and vest.hmm?still no removable helmet??)



Croc Master (it's the same 25th Anni figure with the addition of some cobras and a snake straight from ROC Crimson Neo-Viper)



Crazylegs (yippee!)



Blowtorch (same 25th Anni figure with new cannisters and pickaxe.yawnnn)



Cobra Trooper (Resolute Trooper's head and helmet ,with POC Wave 3 SE's upper legs..again !Will grab a squad though)

CC (Resolute version with new vest and new accesories..yawnnn)



Steel Brigade (reminiscent of his ARAH figure.Comes with 25th AOCI Zap's bazooka and backpack with removbable shells)



General Hawk (25th Dusty's helmet,Resolute Duke's legs and Resolute Destro's briefcase..awesome updated version)



SE Temple Guardian(Resolute Comic Pack SS helmet and legs with new torso and arms,Dusty's scarf equals another passable figure)



Iron Grenadier (damn,this guys packs a punch ,and since POC Wave 4 Destro is heavily armored, so must his elite guard)



Rock Viper (25th Anni Shockwave helmet and head ,Resolute Duke torso and and upper legs,POC Wave 2 SE lower arms and legs,ROC Arctic SE backpack ...this guy's a mere part swap and repaint.)



Conclusion

Thank goodness, the figures in both waves are not potential troop builders for me.phew!
A couple of IGs,squad of Cobra Trooper ,2 Crazylegs, 3 Hawk and 1 each of the rest are enuf for me.Already owned enuf Vipers and Croc Masters as it is.

Gonna grab a VAMP since i skipped POC's version.The driver looks good too.
HISS is awesome and so is the new driver..damn ,another HISS for me...

Techno Viper looking good, so does Gen Hawk and Iron Grenadier...

A lot of skipable stuffs for me...

wow, thanks for the good review, dark! it's true, most of the figs seems more like a mere swap & repainting a bit... then wah-lah, a new figure! Boring...

but looking forward for Iron Grenadier & Cold Slither Zarana, hmmm guess it's time i start building the Dreadnoks lol

That was on Feb 12. As of Feb 13, the price for it went to RM 99.
Next day it might be RM 150. Who knows?
