yeah ,you can also print them out,..i did save them back in 2000 and the file size is very small but owning the cards itself gives you the nostalgic feeling that digital scans couldnt.

just like comics ,plenty of digital scans available online but nothing beats holding them in your hands and flipping thru page after page.

Yup but compared to the comics scan, you could actually print out higher quality filecards which are better than the original, at one point also, fans were going for fan made filecards which basically had the same format and text but subsituted the picture for a comic artwork or cartoon picture

Well, I think Hasbro Malaysia expected  the movie toys to move fast but given the current financial environment, I would say that was fairly optimistic, as always certain figures and vehicles moved during the movie run but then things pretty much slowed down.  There's mixed reports in the US as how the figures are doing but indication was that the initial higher price point and the fact that it's not a great year financially for the average american played a part in it.  There are certain things in the joe line which moved well, the Target packs are basically all gone and most of the later wave figures are also gone, wave 1 and 2 are the only ones largely to be found but I suspect Hasbro produced these in larger volumes to cater for purchase by moviegoers (and similarly Hasbro Malaysia bought larger numbers of these) and the later waves in smaller number factoring that the those inspired by the movie would drop out and leaving the regular collectors left. I'll give it time though, we could be like Transformerss now, when figures are scare and suddenly a glut comes in.

The problem isn't overstocking, but hiking/jacking up prices ridiculously.

Hasblow Malaysia is the most greedy ******* toy company ever.

No problems with the US company but I don't even know if the Malaysian version is qualified to be called hasbrow. They really give the company a bad name.

Hi all biggrin.gif

Got some unreleased prototypes for Pursuit of Cobra images, taken from Hiss tank forums smile.gif

The Joe figure (can't recognize who's that) uses the lower legs of the Resolute Cobra Trooper, the same helm from Desert Ambush Duke and the vest from the 25th Viper. Can't recognize the rest of the parts though.

I'm really looking forward to the PoC's Cobra mech there. The figure's head uses Wild Weasel, and the legs are the typical Zartan/AVAC legs. Can't recognize the arms and torso though. I really like the black and red scheme they got here. But i really don't like the armaments for the mech, i preffered the Joe mech's weapons.

There are 2 different paint jobs for the Awe Striker vehicle, the figure's body is from the Resolute Cobra Trooper and the head's Firefly. The blue paint job looks nicer though. Pressumably 1's Joe and the other Cobra, maybe.

And finally, the Cobra Fury Tank. Same old stuff, Alley Viper officer don't come with a shield and his big SMG weapon. Came with a launcher/mini-gun.
