mine no voltage change
Voltage tweak is warrrantied by Asus. Don't think sapphire and other brand does that Added on April 9, 2009, 1:49 am QUOTE(sniper69 @ Apr 8 2009, 01:45 PM) the HD4890 really made me missed my HD2900XT, it's hotter, it's "hotter", it's heavier... what i mean hot is... it's HOT Well, 4890 is like 5 times faster then HD2900XT? lol for temperature wise... not much difference compared to HD4870... used to be @51°C (idle), 60°C (load), but on this HD4890 i got temperature reading 56°C on idle whilst on load is 67°C... the fan speed wise, my favourite speed... 65% so the heat justify it, the faster the fps you want the more heat is needed This post has been edited by valent: Apr 9 2009, 01:49 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

MX,Apr 13 2009, 02:39 AM]well its quite obvious OC should generate more heat...hot = fan spin faster?
well my friend using 4850 golden sample...very quiet and keeps the temperature around 60 degress region at full load...i guess any non-reference cooler should do a good job cooling the card [/quote] Ati4850 runs damn cool with non reference cooler This post has been edited by valent: Apr 13 2009, 05:40 AM |
