Well eventhough if it cannot compete the GTX*** or whatsoever,still AMD has the Price/Performance Ratio..
And actually,HD 4830 should be replaced by RV740 which is priced around $100 IINM |

nVidia.. Seriously.. They want to compete and keep re-making new cards just to slap AMD I think even GTX 260 (216SP) should be enough/on par with the HD4890 About the price..well i think its HIS Problem |

How come so expensive?
I thought the HD4890(512MB) is priced 200$USD so at least RM 700-900 + is acceptable..I guess you mean 1GB version,since 1GB version is yes,RM 1100+ |

Yes..I think 1Ghz Core Clock is achievable with Stock cooling but with 70% Fan Speed? Anyway the 990/1150..The voltage are @ stock? |

No..Dont worry..This card(HD4890) is specially made for overclocking
Can even go 950/1100 on stock volts and stock cooling(perhaps 50%) Do not worry.. |

Well..The original price should be RM 800~1000..

Yes.GTX 275 may surpass this..but still for the same answer..not much frames
So you can pick either HD 4890 and GTX 275.. You keep overclock both of them..you will get either simillar results or just diff 1-5% only .. |
