from the info i get.
the SRP for 4890 "estimated" around USd249-299
all the manufactury stil dono the actual SRP yet.

so estimated the selling price around RM1100-1200.
if RM700-900.
how much u think HD4870 need sell ? RM500 or below ?

from what i heard, other country like US retailer get rebate from ATI. tat's why they can sell cheaper than malaysia.

IceQ4+ 4870/ hd4850 sure expensive than other brands one.
maybe palit or saphire quite cheap.
u wait for 1-2 weeks bah. i think i able to sell the HIS cards very cheap during the pc fair

somemore iceQ price is higher than those brand like gainward/palit. this is fact

if like you all said, the HD4890 only 15-30% than 4870.
so the price won't hav huge different.

HD4890 RM10XX
HD4870 RM550 -> 1GB ? (1 USD = 3.665 MYR )
HD4850 RM470 (1 USD = 3.665 MYR )

in fact, the price for ATI cards :

HD4890 RM10XX
HD4870 RM900 above -1GB (depends on brand, most of hd4870 now are non reference card. pls take)
HD4870 RM800 above -512B
HD4850 RM6XX (for GS/ICEQ4 la)
HD4850 RM5XX (for normal 4850)

the pricecut won't cause much difference (between RM20-50 max). so the rumour not necessory true.

u can either buy ATI and nvidia anytime u need it.

GTX260+ better than 4870 is it
and price cheaper also. really worth it. but i dont like the design of cooler.
but the only difference i see between the nvidia and ATI is the desktop interface / icon more sharp when i using nvidia card.

sorry red camp fans..haha
