Hi, I need some help on this casing. Any sifu can suggest how to mod this case?

side panel mod, + 2 12cm fan on side panel, spray black / red or black / white for external, red for internal adding 12cm fan on the drive bay since u only using 1,

or u can cut a side penal window on it .

Side panel gonna cut it to a window. Then which colour matches my cm690?
Red for internal? Nice ah?
The 12cm fan will blow in towards my proc, right?

of coz, not mod ur casing to car, instead take the color scheme

red coler or black or even orange color will look ganas but most impotent is u like what color lah

Really must slowly do if like this.
Where to buy cheap spray?
And I saw got fluorescent and normal spray? Difference?

any hard way store, or just go to Ace hard way store.

normal usually gloss or flat color, while fluorescent would be like rainbow but contrast the colour u want.

(not sure myself, but that what the guy at hardware told me)

juz c ut off the side...and add a transparent acrylic b the side windows!! after that make the whole case in blck color!!

When I going to spray my casing, do I have to remove the white colour or directly apply the new colour onto it?

the white gonna contrast ur next paint.

I scare white will become yellowish...

use white primer paint stead then using samurai clear paint (lacquer) which is the best lacquer, becoz ur white wont turn yellowish

hehe.. black oso ok, just that too many guys paint casing black

Those ACE hardware shops got sell the paint?

ace hardware hardly sell samurai paint, but i can try get it at nearest paint shop at my place.

yes, they do sell primer unless got no stock of course..

Hmm...Ok.
Can try to quote me the price of those 2 paints? I have to design my case 1st then only can start the painting.

ace hardware brand primer = rm20, 5-15mins easy dry.
samurai lacquer = rm20 (i guess, dunno cuz last time buy got discount)

Does those paint in cans or big bucket?

what u can do with the case

1] Inverted ATX
2] Transparent Side Panel
3] Top blow-hole
4] Repaint to glossy effect
5] U hav 4 dvdrw slots... use 1 slot for dvd.. the most top.. the other 3 u remove.. put an acrylic plastic and cut a hole for 120mm fan... so nice 1...

yeah, cut side panel with a grinder eh bro.. u sure got stiff hand

Btw, about the case current paint, do I have to remove it?

i tumpang ya , i still got no idea how to do inverted ATX

to do inverted atx. must removed all the pices and fix it back the way u wan by driling holes. not really recomended. will destroy the casing regid it not properly done.
mine sanget one way after fixing and cannot properly stand.

steps which u cant missed or it will never complete

1] remove all rivets... take it piece by piece..
2] make sure u picture it 1st.. flip every part except front panel, top panel and bottom panel.. (parts to flip is side, inner part and rear)
3] if u can, when u wanna assemble it back, use the previous made hole, make a new 1 if u cant match it anymore...

if wanna see mine... look for my case mod thread, inverted atx + 240v fan, white color and hav tribal tattoo at front panel

Actually all casings 4 side panel and the top panel can be removed?

yup... all can... (based on my experience in stripping previous casing)

Go for flat black for exterior and interior...plus a little bit minor colour like blue/red
if you are not planning to cut the sidepanel then paint the exterior black should be enuf
finish the job with black fan controller on the front like coolermaster musketeer2 or sunbeam rheobus
sure rocks!!

hehe...if u feel bored mod like cutting the side panel only,try to do design to ur casing...u can google my thread...i mod once
