I tried both HDF Claymation and Quicksand, personally prefer clamation. Anyone looking for a easy to wash and scentless hair styling product can try on the Claymation.

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Aug 17 2016, 10:58 PM) I've tried HDF Quicksand, Scheme Cream, Claymation, and Sponge Wax for my fine hair. Quicksand and Scheme Cream are good, but the other two offers very little hold for me and bog down my hair. I only have a Scheme Cream sample though, and it looks like it is out of stock everywhere in Malaysia. Anyone can point me to a local source that has in stock? Buying from HDF directly has hefty shipping fees. Or is there another product out that is similar to Scheme Cream? Something that is light, goes on easy, does not weigh down the hair at all, medium hold with a bit of natural shine? Scheme cream is back on stock in Zalora. Personally I have tried Quicksand, Claymation and Scheme Cream. Wouldn't recommend Quicksand to anyone as the smell is too strong and not easy to wash off from your hair due to the sand alike material. For short hair go for Claymation for the hold and Scheme Cream for long hair with little hold enough to tie a man bun.

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Aug 14 2017, 05:11 PM) May i know which outlet or website can i get these mentioned products? stumbled upon this thread, seems interesting.... am looking at wax/clay that is easy to be washed... found out that greasy/hard to wash hair products tend to easily cause dandruff to my hair there's a shop in Shopee called BPH_store that are selling some good hair pomades(imported from US), you can find some good stuffs there.

QUOTE(Strength @ Aug 19 2017, 06:49 PM) What are your opinions on Gatsby's pomade? stay away from Gatsby or any pharmacies hair products because it contains high concentration of alcohol which lead to hairloss. You definitely need to spend more for your health of your scalp.

QUOTE(Exodius @ Aug 20 2017, 07:00 PM) May I know the difference between hairstyling foam (hair mousse) / wax / 3D matte clay? Can't seem to differentiate .my hair is medium short I guess when I push it down it touches the top tip of my eye brow. Saw some guide video where people apply hair styling foam on wet hair first > blow dry > hair wax? Thank you. Hair mousse usually being used during pre-styling and wax/clay are used for post-styling. Don't bother to use mousse as it is in aerosol can form(lead to hairloss). You can replace it with just water or light cream for pre-style. The difference between wax and clay is clay usually offers more hold than wax which both are used for post-styling(hold your shape for the entire day). QUOTE(Strength @ Aug 21 2017, 04:25 PM) So Gatsby waxes and pomades are not good? My last gatsby product was 10 years back, I would rather spend more for a better product. The reason why I dont like Gatsby is because it is hard to wash out, need few washes to get all the residues out of my hair. If you just need a strong hold hair product, Gatsby will do the job.
