that is up to personal preference. I used to use wax but now once I use pomade. I never went back LOL.

slickers will always be slickers... haha... but in general i feel buying wax (if it is suitable for the style of hair you have), if possible, should always choose the cheaper option. because it is something you will use everyday.

Had to have a perm again. I've been using a hairdresser in the village where I live for the past three haircuts by which time her lack of talent became obvious. My hair was beginning to look like those of the villagers who surround me. So I returned to this shop in Bentong that I've been going to even 10 years ago when it had a different proprietor. The guy is the best.

Before the perm. Village haircut.

End result. Kpop haircut.

With a perm like this, I get asked all the time if I'm Japanese/Korean. No, really. Even when I tell them I'm not, they don't seem to believe it.

i just got myself a layrite. it could be the different climate here in Malaysia compared to california where the pomp reviews it.

i find that the pull isnt that good, doesnt straighten my hair for the pomp as easily as suavecito or any of the oil base i use. and this is the strong hold brown color layrite. a bit disappointing.

today is the 2nd time im using it, finding similar results in the first styling. but restyling has been good. i think i will try and style my hair a bit damp tomorrow.

i find layrite are great when u use it on a damp hair. oh the hold also better than suavecito and it doesnt feel too dry when u wash it. however, u are right about the weather. its been hot this month and whatever u used will melt under the hot scouring sun lol....

I Need recommendations on hair heat protectant with volume, product. Also thinking of switching to another wax brand beside Gatsby. And where I can get them.
