Thank god I got the Elite when I did anyway......

Back then, it was excellent because of the huge HDD AND HDMI ports....... but now, even the premium models has HDMI and HDDs can be upgraded........ soooooooooooooooooooo........

Yay.I don't think it came to much use anyway.
They're selling 120GB HDDs now.
I mean it was great when it first came out,but now Premium = Elite with half the HDD size.
But it's not like you need the HDD space anyway.We don't get marketplace movies and such >_>

If they do, it makes us current elite users more special =p

Then again,I think there's a way to use a proxy and disguise our Xboxes as coming from US,then we get free Netflix XD

since urs is a elite..so it should be a older chipset...how long can it last?

Registered once for trial, but never used it since you need to fill your address, our country arent supported.

even if u manage to spoof our ip, and get netflix regstration done & etc.. u think our broadband can handle it? can we get a "helll no" everybody?

RROD was never an issue to me. Mine's already been hit once n claiming warranty only took 2 weeks =)

My original Elite was a Zephyr. But thanks to a DVD Drive defect, I sent it back to Singapore and got a Falcon instead.....

lol..jealous for wat? if i would to go for a elite..ill rather go or a ps3...since theres hardly any diff between a arcade and a elite besides the hard drive and the so called black color...the hard drive somemore anywhere can buy... really loled at u men..

Well...it's supposed to be Limited Edition in the first place.

My personal say is it doesn't made much difference. The market gonna lost a black 360 option, that's all.

I thought the availability of the harddisk is very scarce?

We owned elites because we can afford one.

I smell a fanboy.

And hopefully with this, we can see less retailers racking up elites or limited edition for the arcades or less expensive bundles of 360s.
Either way, we as gamers will reap the benefits.

i bought elite bcos i have no choice...last time i was decide to get old arcade set without HDD one from GH. i back home kuantan 1day then i notice the fan only one side working.. so i have exchange it for elite.

is only work for 1year and 3months and i was seldom turning on...

Apa la nak jeles jeles, i have an elite because it has a bigger harddisk, black and I wanna keep things legal, and oh ding ding, I can afford it too. Its easier since its like that straight out of the box, just the way I want it, and its official, great for that sudden 3rod attacks.

Kalau mau mod xbox go ahead, its good to make yourself feel special, especially in the aspiring years of just leaving teendom and striving to get an identity by flaunting membership seniority while trying to act cool. I know, I've been there, about a decade ago.

Oh on the topic of the elite being discontinued, that's just microsoft doing business. I'm sure there'll have another elite like elitekaukau or elitestest in the future when the economy improves.
