If u mean A/D# , it is a slash chord. It means a D# chord with A bass note.

another way to play it icon_rolleyes.gif

also if you're playing in drop c or drop d, try this chord, it has a nice ring to it.

the best to learn guitar is by help of a tutor or find some friends who can taech you some basic...
practising come after that...i've learned how to play guitar just for a week from a very skillful person and then he let me do my own after that...

if you know a basic chords keep practising it..simply by playing a,b,c,d,e,f,g in major and minor...keep changing the chords until you have perfect it on holding the chords...

i think u got it the other way around.

its an A chord with a D# bass on it.
hence, A on D#.

when i started playing the guitar, i had my cousin taught me the basics....how to hold the guitar, strum and some basic chords...then i asked my friend to teach me how to read the tabs....which is very easy....then everything i did it myself...went into guitar tab websites n search for video lessons n most of the time, studying my guitar heroes...bear in mind, back then there was no youtube...

back then, if i wanted to learn a song i would collect as many good tabs and download the song and just sat infront of the computer for hours learning the song to perfection...

with the technology nowadays, with youtube and millions of guitar websites and softwares like guitarpro and powertab, things will be alot easier now than back in 1998....

But most importantly is the will and drive to learn becos IMO, the early stage of learning is the most difficult and u might feel like quitting at certain stage due to frustration....

anyway....WELCOME TO THE WORLD AXE ABUSERS.....TO THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK WE SALUTE YOU!!!!!
