What is DaiCon?

DaiCon is EMiNA's major ACG event for this year, focusing on all aspects of Japanese Modern Visual Culture from anime, manga, games, J-Pop, J-Rock, cosplay, figurines, doujinshi and much much more. We aim to cater to everyone with an interest in Japanese modern visual culture, so there will be something for everyone, from the cosplayers and doujin artists down to the casual gamers and J-drama fans.

As for ecchi doujins, we do not encourage sales of 'dangerous' items as the event is aimed for fans as well as families.

Entrance fee price is still undecided. We will announce it once it is confirmed.

For the mini-concert, if you want special seating, you will have to get the AWSM and ELITE tickets. Otherwise, it's probably standing space only.

Good news for everyone! There's been a number of additional items allowed to be autographed by Minorin:

1. All ORIGINAL character CD albums that are voiced by Minorin.
2. ORIGINAL Seiyuu Magazines from Japan (Voice Newtype, etc. etc.) with Minorin on the FRONT COVER.
3. ORIGINAL photobooks of Minorin.

Anything else that isn't on the F.A.Q page on our website or here IS NOT ALLOWED. There might be additional items later to add on the list as we get permission from their management.

However, photography and video taking are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED during her autograph and concert sessions. Sorry to say, but the usual Japanese rules on this remain to be enforced during DaiCon. Please cooperate with us on this matter.

My Name is Brian and i'm a vendor in Daicon 2009.
I'll be doing Temporary Airbrush Tattoo service during the event.

I've custom made many kinds of tattoo stencil just to suit the event's theme..
Most of my custom made designs are related to many famous anime such as naruto, bleach, macross, gurren lagann, death note, FMA, etc.

As for anyone who are gonna participate in cosplay and need tattoos for their character, i hav some tattoo that might suit you.
For example, the "爱" word on Gaara's fore head, Sasuke's Seal on shoulder, Neiji's Forehead seal, Anbu tattoo, Full Metal Alchemist's "Black Sin" tattoo, all can be done in my booth.
As for bigger tattoo such as the seal on the seal on Naruto's stomach, do PM me for that coz the size is kinda big and i need to prepare for it.

If u have any Tattoo in your mind that need me to customize for you, do PM me and let me know..


As for the price, it all ranges from RM 3 till RM15, based on the size of the tattoo...
An affordable price for everyone...??

We've also put up the General Rules and Photography Policy for DaiCon up on the website. Please do follow the rules or else we'll be forced to kick you out! I sure hope that doesn't happen!

We are also proud to announce the CELGames Roadshow at DaiCon, brought to you by GameAxis Malaysia! Go and show off your skills on the latest games from FIFA '09 to Red Alert 3 and many more!

Also we'll be having a Weiβ Schwarz Tournament cum Workshop on both days of DaiCon so feel free to participate or find out more about this popular TCG from Japan!

The FAQ is also updated with the latest list of autograph-permissible items for Miss Minori's autograph session as well as a few other updates regarding DaiCon.

Finally, and the most important thing. Due to MMU security policy, all visitors to the university MUST be registered at the entrance, but we've managed to lift that requirement by using a special Visitor's DaiCon pass! Please download the pass from our website, print it out on a piece of A4 paper and place it on your vehicles dashboard to gain hassle-free entry to our university! The pass also allows your vehicles access to the Visitor's Parking Bays during DaiCon, so please keep it there at all times during our event!

About that matter, I have to sincerely apologize as we gave the wrong ticket number to be called, so there was a clash. Unfortunately that was the last number to be called and we had reached the limit of 15 after that so I have to sincerely apologize on being unable to accommodate your extra autograph as the management of Miss Minorin strongly limited it to 15.

Participated in Gundam Constructors' Championship... GREAT event! Nice figures, Nice cosplayers, Nice Macross units, and great atmosphere!
