yerrr...
does that mean that my phone camera need to send to NCC to fix it?
*
that means you have to change the white balance setting before you take a photo... i am sure he has different lighting compared to your environment...

I plan to buy those compatible high capacity battery once it comes out
huh?!?!? are u serious? Do u switch off your tube or not?
*
What i have noticed, is that, our tube's battery's performance increases over time. its common behavior with Li-ion batteries, first couple of charges it wont charge to its max capacity. At least 8-12 complete charge cycles (full discharge and full charge) and you will feel its capacity somewhat increases.

Don't listen to some shop owners that say you have to charge your battery for 8 hours or 12 hours upon purchase, that is just plain stupid.

These are modern Li-ion batteries with circuits and stuff, not the older unprotected Ni-cad batteries like those in the old motorolas

our tube auto cut off at full charge so what da point to charge 8 hrs when the battery is full the phone auto cut off charging
*
yeah, exactly my point. in fact most modern ITE equipment like phones, mp3/mp4/digicams have auto cut off feature since the past 10 years i think... Some mobile phone shop operators are obviously from the stone age...

just updated my firmware, no program need to be reinstall..

from v11.0.008 to latest version v20.0.012..

very nice, phone obviously faster..but got 1 problem..the "search:Internet and my content" - everytime i click on it, it got "system error" ...can teach how to set it properly?
*
if you have v20 firmware, just disable it. you are not going to use it anyway, most of us, i think, fire up the web browser to do a search. More PC like that way, compared to searching from a search app.

Anybody know whether it's possible to get Thai fonts on our Tube?

I downloaded the Thai language pack for the dictionary and it couldn't display the Thai words properly.

wa...for black edition is class 6?? quite unfair if like that...but if its class 6 aso not big differences since class 4 already so fast transfer rate...
*
I am using class 6 sandisk, trust me, it makes a difference, especially when you have tons of photos and videos in your gallery... loading thumbnails takes a second, while on my friend's tube with ori nokia class 4, it takes 2 seconds plus. Furthermore i have way more stuff in my gallery and mem card compared to my friend.

When Idou comes in lets talk. I would consider SE when that begins. The WM6 Xperia is totally overprice. I can get better features for another HTC phone. Weakness of WM6 consume too much ram to even run the OS.
If u compare xperia and tube look at the price tag  2 tube for the price of 1 xperia. I better buy EEEPC notebook and 1 tube.
*
exactly, that is what i use now... eee pc and tube. small tasks use my tube... big tasks whip out the eee. more bigger tasks of cos go back home switch on the desktop la... haha...

welcome to the LCD keeps changing color problem group. i also have the same issue. have to go change LCD at NCC once got sttock la.
*
what i have noticed is that before i went to v20, everything was fine. i bought my tube with 2 more friends, bought same time from same place. 3 units. 1 blue and 2 red.

one blue and one red i updated to v20, same time after flash and reboot, both got lcd color issue. the other red tube that i didnt update dont have the lcd color issue till now... still on v11 though. hmm.gif

it definately is sw issue imho. how do you explain the red tube that i didnt update the firmware to v20 that is still fine ? sweat.gif hmm.gif

but anyway, its nokia's tube, and if they say its h/w issue then it is i guess. maybe admitting its a h/w fault is easier than saying its s/w issue since they can put the blame on the oem lcd manufacturers. whistling.gif whistling.gif

now i feel like listening to akon's blame it on me... blame it on me... icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

all 4 photos taken using old firmware v.11 few days after i bought the tube. blue tube. brows.gif

no touch-up whatsoever, just re-sized 30% using windows paintbrush program (mspaint)

tweaked some ISO settings and all shots are in macro with flash. thumbup.gif

now its loaded with v.20 firmware and i applied a patch (you have to hack your phone first cool2.gif ) to reduce the compression employed by the default camera program of tube. the file size of captured photos increase by at least 15-30% on average sweat.gif . less compression and noise reduction artifacts, but more details (and noise as well). will try to capture and upload some photos with the new firmware and new patch soon...

the peanuts come in 2 flavors (different white balance settings)

you can see the difference it makes when u use the correct white balance.

if i hacked my phone then i hard reset it, will the software part of the phone be back to original or will it still have the hacked settings??  rclxub.gif
*
hmmm.... i think will be reset as well, depends on what reset actually... there are 2 types...

either the 3 key combo... or the *#7370# command...

i think only the 3 key combo will reset the hack.

try it out... haven't tried that yet...
