I notice this trend where a lot of junior members tend to come in the thread and ask questions like "how to install ******" or "guys please teach me how to *******"

It is very unethical of you to come in straight without reading through the first page tutorials written by the threadstarter because he/she took a lot of time to prepare the tutorials for newbiews such as myself (mind you I just got my Tube last friday). You guys should read the thread properly and use the search function and not only that, use Uncle Google if you have to...

and actually you should come in and contribute to the thread also instead of hit and run just coming in and ask then go away once you have your answer... its a forum community and this is what forum ethics is all about.  icon_rolleyes.gif

keke nice one mate. Its true alot of ppl will just enter this thread and straight ask wishing someone to spoon feed them. They come spoon feed nvm after they get their solution they just disappear. A community is about sharing. I really dont mind helping but problem the answer is already there in the frontpage if they take some effort to at least read thru AT LEAST ONCE they will really find many solution to their problem. If Frontpage doesnt have it please feel free to ask me and many ppl here would be glad to answer. For alot of regular here they will get annoy for the same bloody question keep repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and nvm we need answer like 50 times.

After u spoon feed them once for every problem they will come back here to wait to be spoon feed again. Like slade said its about forum ethics.

Is it so hard to open www.google.com and type your problem there?

I think a bit differently... Bcoz we have so many V1~ V11. Hard to check all the threads.

go one by one and press every issues. If we have only one thread then easier to check... vmad.gif
Anyway... I also agree, so simple work as like "how to install" this question is really troublesome!!!
*
First no one ask u to read from V1 to V11.

2nd If the answer is not in V11, Please ask! Problem in V11 also have but nobody bother to read thru or at the bottom use keyword to search.
Even V11 they dont read do you think they will got thru V1 to V11. You also come in straight ask what tongue.gif

100% agree..

I'm using external Bluetooth GPS. Its signal is 3~4 times stronger than 5800's gps.. (I bought for my pda last time)

Even garmin nuvi's GPS is more stronger than my bluetooth GPS. It means Nuvi 4~6 times stronger than 5800???  blink.gif  blink.gif
*
There is a reason why its call a standalone unit. Not all of us need a nuvi?

yeah.. the nuvi should be left in the car while u use the phone for everything else including gps, outside the car. that's what i do
*
That depends how rich the person is. Not everyone so rich like you sir. If the car already ppl wont buy a phone gps for walking except if the person is very rich. Handphone gps very weak near indoor or high rise building

whats this arguement about gps unit vs 5800 doh.gif .. it stupid la ... 1 is a specialize another is jack of all trades .. if u wan a super gps unit go buy gps unit and not the 5800 doh.gif .. its a just extra function embedded into the phone .. its is still in the end a phone doh.gif ...

if i say my PDA cannot fight my LAPTOP make sense or not ?? lulz .. what kind of mentality is this doh.gif ...
*
Nice one malaysian mindset they always make unfair comparison like one compare tube wit iphone just look at tube price tag
Ppl that own nuvi think it can go online have build in camera support 3g calls ha ha

Hey there all,

Bought the very own Zitron Blue Tube at Giant Kelana Jaya 2 days ago. Price was at RM1380. They immediately placed free screen protector.  Upon reaching home with it, upgraded the firmware to V20.0.012. Next best thing was having a good antivirus/spyware/firewall/anti-theft program for added protection. Browse thru nokia website. 2 such programs came up, F-secure and symantec. Went to the F-secure website and purchased 1 year antivirus/spyware/firewall/anti-theft for RM186. The tube system to me is very stable, not a single hickup eventhough multiple times of file deleting, transferring and application installed/uninstalled.

Read thru all 38 thread pages in one shot. Got most of the needed info without asking. All thanks to the first few pages. Thanks all for all the info given.... I'm 1 happy nokia/Tube user....
*
wow that is expensive. E-trade in Giant kelana jaya selling @ 1300 also free screen protector.

Virus always have compatible issue because of the OS keep changing example virus for Symbian OS 9.3 doesnt work on 9.4
