hey,
sorry for being stupid here..
that means that u think that it's not worthy to spend RM 599 to buy a junk like this ?
i saw my fren in skul bringing an iPhone to skul and the screen can barely be seen under the sunlight and after a few days he said that the screen is broken. Is iPhone really this HIGH-MAINTAINANCE ?^^

By saying that iPhones have "fake" and "originals" ones, how can i diffrentiate them ?
for instance, how about the ones selling at Low Yat or Sg Wang ?
but i thought that all parts of iphones are gathered in china ?
so that means that if i see anyone in Malaysia using an iPhone, that is a sure FAKE-ONE ?

i'm satisfied with mine.
a fren bought it for me from nz
u can always browse at garage sales if u really want to buy
of course if u dont really know/want to use it, better not.
would be a waste of money then
unless u are well off.

just some advice.

firstly (judging from your first post), a fake iphone is not an iphone. hence having said that, how can you even associate its attributes in the same category?

that's like asking for support/help from this subsection if you run into troubles with a replica version. that's like a total oxymoron situation.

looks like i am getting myself into a nasty catfight!
first of all, thank you for even taking the time to response to someone like me who would ask questions like this..
secondly, i must let u know that im 17 and i dun wana go labour at part times just to earn few hundreds dollars..call me a brat..so i am fully spending my parents' money for this iphone and i had actually had some unpleasant experiences before buying gadgets..especially they are Over-priced like iphone.i am well aware about ur point that i must get the real thing .. YES YES!! the problem now is that u guys know anyone who is trust worthy? low yat plaza ? sg wang ?i dun hav fren/relatives overseas to buy it for me..
here is my conclusion:
I want an iPhone 3g 16gb (White colour)
what kind of price am i looking at ? no second hand please. best of all, hassel free..just give me a usable phone..i never know how to activate stuff and i dun wana be regreatful for my choice at the first place.

hey,
thanks a lot..hopefully there are no skanks here..
do u notice something funny, i've seen a few people in malaysia using an iphone but most of them are malay pak cik( no offense if u r malay) is it because chinese are more practical? on the down side, iphone seems really breakable and maintenance costs are high. do iphones really have malfunctions so easily?oh yeah, and if my iphone breaks down, who should i go to ?omg, why is it not officially usable in Malaysia ??

no one is attempting to pick a fight with you. period.

just that your statements contradict one another. fact.

malaysians residents (yes and that includes foreigners for example international students) typically come to LYN forum to get the best possible deals. you have completed the first step right, and the next thing that you need to do is to head to garage sale (there are abundant of sellers; both honest and crooked ones) and just take the average of all the prices. i'm pretty sure that makes perfect sense?

sorry, i also did notice that my statements are contradicting each other..because i am confused in the first place.
i nid to pay with my father's credit card, is that ok with those LYN sellers ?is it better to have a macbook if i am using an iphone? are these two gadget compatible with each other ? is an iphone wi-fi enabled ?

hey bro,
i really appreciate ur effort of being sarcastic.. i know the website..
but is those fancy pancy apps and functions applicable here in the Great Malaysia too ??
oh shoot. there is a new post about an unlocked iphone that can't function well..
if i had 100% confident about having an iphone in Malaysia, trust me, i will be the first in line to get it..
but there is many sad and tragic stories resurfacing on the net... so ..... WTF??? i can't do anything but blame myself for being poor..
