If I am not mistaken, there is a free shuttle bus from the Kelana Jaya LRT station. Dunno how frequent it runs though.

and which lens for landscape will be affordable for a beginner?
the tamron 90mm f2.8 mainly for potrait only?
LOL.    icon_question.gif  notworthy.gif thanks.

No need to worry yourself sick over a lens for landscape. Your 18-70mm kitlens icon_rolleyes.gif will serve you very well for landscape until you feel the need for a 'faster' or 'sharper' or 'wider' lens.

Do not underestimate the kitlens. I am basically still shooting with a 'kit lens' - the 18-250mm that is bundled as a kit lens for the A700 here! Hehehehehehe!

So shoot first, buy later.

10. Phailed attempt at a 3 wireless flash shot. The one behind the subject either did not fire or the angle was not right to get a backlit effect! 1 F58 to the left of subject on floor and a F42 with lower power setting one subject right high.

That's all folks! Thanks for viewing!

twekiang For one that's unfamiliar with sunset shots, you seem to be doing quite well! I like your shot.

As for reflection, sometimes I guess it relies a lot on the water. It needs to be still enough. Sometimes where you stand to take the pic also affects the reflectiveness of the water.

Best advise is to go out and shoot some more. Trial and error.

to all F42 and F58 owners...what do you find missing in ur F42?
for F58 users what do u always use that is missing in F42?
*
What's missing? It's obvious lar.... the F58 has the cobra action and once you have felt it, you will miss it when it's not there. Honest!

When I first got my F42, I did not feel that it was missing anything. It's a wonderful flash, don't get me wrong, but once the cobra came in, it was the fast switch from landscape to portrait orientation and back that will win you over without you knowing it. There were times when I was using the F42 that I wanted to push it to the side and then only did I realized how much I was using the cobra action and how natural it felt. The push button and twist action on the F42 felt like it was a bit odd and was slower to execute. That's what you would miss most!

The F42 is a bit faster to adjust the flash power and zoom settings as there are 2 separate dedicated buttons for them and you just press either to scroll through the various settings. On the F58 you need to press 2 buttons before you get to switch the settings for either flash power or zoom.

And of course the F58 looks big and intimidating and when you turn it sideways in front of some brand fanboys, it just adds to the cool factor!! icon_rolleyes.gif
