pro flick shd b 30+sgd iirc....bought it some times back..haha

imo...there is a few pros n cons of both la..depend on which one u like...
hving ur own domainz..u hav to spend some times to manage it..and u hav to had a lil bit knowledge in that area otherwise u might suffer a lil bit initially...but well..its ur OWN domain...like no others =)

for flickr..its easier to manage..and its a place where photographers gather...its a channel for u get to see others work..and shares ur work with the world...but again..if u need a place to act as a showcase..own domain might sounds more 'pro' than a flickr pro..lol

QUOTE(albnok @ Mar 8 2009, 11:46 PM)
achew, there are many ways to reduce the effect of the on-body flash signal.

1) use a shutter speed that is faster than the flash sync speed of your body, thus triggering HSS (1/200s would be sure for the A200/A300/A350)
2) use a piece of overexposed, developed film negative over your pop-up flash
3) use a darker aperture e.g. F11
4) use a lower ISO e.g. ISO100

The moment you enter HSS mode, the signal is totally not captured by the camera. Of course, the downside is the fast shutter speed, which will reduce ambient light... but you can do 1/200s F1.4 ISO1600 to bring up the ambient light.

On the other hand, you can make daylight appear to be night, using 1/800s F11 ISO100...

If you can find a strip of exposed negative (usually the black end of a film) you won't need to do any of the steps above.

yo boss..thanks for the tips ya.....seems like its slightly more troublesome than i thought..haha....previously i thought this could b easily done with some setting on the camera/flash..lol..btw..does other brand's flash also need to do the same thing???

i think no1 is probably more suitable for me..lol..since i wanna try to shoot at dark enviroment..and jsut wanted my flash to send light from a certain direction =)

achew, all Canons require that you have a 580EX I/II or a ST-E2 transmitter on the camera, to trigger an off-camera flash.

I'm not sure about Nikon and how easy it is to remove the popup flash from showing, but the D40/D40x/D50/D60 do not have wireless commander capability.

tanjq87, the beercan should be pretty sharp. I've felt it to be sharper than the kit lens but never did any formal tests. If your 16-105mm is indeed sharper, then it might hint that it is, indeed, based on the Zeiss 16-80mm design...

use raynox? what do you mean? use raynox on my kit lens or use raynox on your SP90?

if i have 2 options for lens, which 1 should i go to:

option 1: SP90
option 2: tamron 1750 (or any other kit lens replacement with better color and sharpness) + raynox..

hurmm.. blur blur ..
*
depend on ur photography type...to me..for general photograhy..tammy 1750 definitely better...unless u r very very into macro and u don normally shoot anything else..lol

btw..i like ur water droplet photo too biggrin.gif

currently, I own kit lens 1870 and sigma 70300.

I like to shoot macro, landscape and maybe shoot what ever I think nice. biggrin.gif.
I am not sure what I like honestly. but based on my flickr, I know, I like to shoot macro and landscape more than other.
*
den u hav to make up ur choice...lol..90sp is definately nt for landscape....and tammy..i think the focal length stil nt long enuff even u add a raynox infront..unless u mainly shooting water/flower..those bugs..i think 50mm nt really enough..for this maybe u need to confirm with the macro pros..lol

erm .. can tammy 1750 with raynox produce this:

http://www.photomalaysia.com/forums/attach...236525753/1.jpg (sorry, need to click because forum does not support dynamic link)

if can, I would happy to make a move for tammy 1750+raynox ..
*
haha..i don hav the login for this forum =p

anyway...i feel that raynox is nt easy to master if u compare it with normal macro lens.....but nevertheless..its a great value for $ lens..
