I don't mind paying extra a bit than rm900 for new cond and might be getting free stuff. |

Hi! Morning All...
QUOTE(albnok @ Mar 15 2009, 09:27 PM) Seng_Kiat, you may want to try RawTherapee - that's faster than the older Sony Image Data Converters and has a batch process flow. Ok. thank you albnok. btw, besides brightness and contras, what do you process in your picture? do you process them in RAW data? What application? Honestly, I dont know. Mine, I just convert them to JPEG right after transfer into pc, then process it using JPEG. Looks like no point i snap in RAW.For example, you shoot a wedding where indoors is orange tungsten light, and outdoors is daylight. So you can edit ONE indoor picture, set the WB to maybe 2800 Kelvin (as you like lah) and then you Save Profile as Indoor Tungsten. Then you select all the indoor pictures, and click Assign Profile and choose Indoor Tungsten. Then you edit ONE outdoor picture, add some Shadow Fill (same like DRO+ but more kao) and set WB to Daylight WB, then you Save Profile as Outdoor DRO. Then you select all the outdoor pictures, and click Assign Profile and choose Outdoor DRO. Finally, you Select All, and send them to batch processing. Then you start the batch processing 'factory' and go to sleep (this may take a few hours!) QUOTE(The Wonder @ Mar 15 2009, 09:46 PM) Ok got it. tahnk you bro. Downloading .. |

QUOTE(albnok @ Mar 16 2009, 10:42 AM) Seng_Kiat, most of my pictures are already at that brightness and contrast! That's not what I use RAW for. Then again, I really don't shoot RAW unless I need to. oo .. okok.. then i will shoot in JPEG next time .. no point for me to use raw .. I use Vivid 0 +1 +3 currently. You may want to use RAW if you encounter situations where the contrast is very high and you want to pull shadows (which is different from overexposing the image). Of course, the A700/A900 has DRO Level 5 to handle that... |

QUOTE(hokc77 @ Mar 16 2009, 04:59 PM) wow...i like this shoot. can compare the size of the RC against an actual car. honestly, i do not know where is the exact place .. my cousin was directed me to get there .. sorry .. i can't help ... maybe you can find out more from RC forum .. i believe, you gotta have better information .. Nice panning shot BTW, how to get to this place and when is the next event? selvenz: The 16-105 is a great value for money lens... especially for travel use. u get wide to tele in a lens. But in lowlight, the Tamron will be better due to it's f2.8. So choose between lowlight or range btw, about the picture, it was hard to get panning rc car .. guys, what setting should i use for panning car in the day time with light directly from sun? .. most of my photos are blur blur .. |
