Ok as requested, here is an update on my quest for a sigma 30mm f1.4.

Checked with boeing s.wang, leos ampang and yl pudu plaza, all don't have stock. But yl alreay ordered so should be in stock this week they say.

But after thinking about it, i bought the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 in the end.

I sightly miss the f1.4 but more than made up with versatility of this lens. Very happy with it. Covers all everyday situations, I don't think I ever have to take it off. Before this I was alternating between kitlens 18-70mm and sony 50mm f1.4, but both lens are in the dry cabinet now due to my this latest aqusition. It can go wide for scenery or narrow for portrait all the while keeping f2.8 all the way. much faster autofocus than kitlens at all focal points. I love the color, it's not 100% natural, but it's a pleasing quality.

Sacrifice abit of bokeh for plenty of creative flexibilty.

ryzan76: bro, i notice that u always put your flickr link under your posts. seems like u don't know how to use the signature function.well here's how u do it:

scroll to the top of this page and on the top right there's a bold My Controls link. click on it and the next page, on the left menus, search for Edit Signature under Personal Profile

hehe still learning but you can try using photomatix and combine 3 diffrent exposure and blend it.

step by step ya?

shoot RAW
save file as jpg 1 2 3 with diffrent diffrent exposure, 0 +2 -2
open photomatix pro
press generate HDR button
choose 3 photos
and press tone mapping
adjust every single level until you satisfy
upload using imageshack
kautim

remember: if you dont ask u can't win lol
