Female dogs tend to become fatter after spaying. So you gotta control food intake. Lover the amount of food and some exercise. That's all. Actually, spaying gives you loads of pros.... no need see blood stains during heat, lower dog's womb cancer and phantom pregnancy, no more mood swings, won't attract male dogs and since lower risk in cancer, lifespan is prolonged slightly longer.

I got 4 dogs at home, 3 are spayed and neutered. My last male gonna neuter soon. LOL.... it gives me peace and my dogs are happy but I do realize this. Only the females become overweight, my neutered male is still fit and muscular and he is 9 years old.
